Skylla

chapter 1 in the making

Five years ago a 10 year old girl named Skylla and her mother and father went on a camping trip in the Harley woods. They were a happy family. Skylla's father told her to gather sticks while him and her mother set up camp. Skylla walked around the woods in search for stick. She skipped,pounced and danced around until she came to a stop. In front of her was a rush n river that made no sound. Skylla picked up rocks and started skipping them across the river. As skylla skipped her third rock she saw a girl n the water, she didn't no what to do so she called out," hey!hey! do u need help!," the girl didnt awnser so Skylla took of her hiking boots and jumped into the river. She pulled the girl out of the river and put her ears to her chest to see if there was a heart beat. Skylla pumped her chest and put her ears to her chest, then she did it again and again and on her last attempt the girls eyes opened wide. Skylla jumped back n fear and she asked," who are you?," and she replied," I'm Skylla." Then she jumped on Skylla and bit her on the neck. Black worms moved through her body and her eyes turned green. Skylla walked back to camp were she saw her mother and father. She stood there looking at them with foam coming out of her mouth. Her mother said," honey what's wrong with your eyes?," then her father turned around and grabbed Skylla by her hand and said," sweet heart say something." and she didn't awnser so they ran to the SUV and put Skylla n the back and the were speeding to go to the hospital. Father looked back at Skylla and before he could turn around and look at the rode the SUV went into the rush n river. Skylla was still alive but she wanted to die with her parents so she stayed n the river and drowned. Every since then no one has never camped out in the Harley woods. Some says the Skylla still lives n the woods waiting for someone to come.

23 years later the Johnson family was getting ready to go on a summer camping trip. Kids come down stairs we need to get ready to," Mrs.Johnson said.
