AISHA'S POV

"Head in the clouds got no weight on my SHOULDERSS! I should be wiser and realise that I'VE GO-" BANG!!

Suddenly the music stopped. Confused, I got up to check. It was on snooze. Well that's odd, I thought. But I got up anyway.

Rubbing my eyes, I opened my door and walked over to the bathroom. I really needed a bath, I felt so... Rough. I took off my clothes and hopped in. Opened the shower and setting it on warm, I let the water pour all over me.

Today's my first day at Southfree High. After moving from London to California, I had to leave all my friends behind. It was tough, but I guess that's life.

I'm actually looking forward to it though. I've been told a lot of good things about Southfree High, like the students are nice, but that's never usually true, so I couldn't care less about that. But the school is huge, the library's full of such a good variety of books, and there are lockers. We didn't have lockers at Lowden Secondary School, as it was in London and they probably couldn't afford it seeing how cheap they are.

After washing my hair, I got out of the bath, wrapped myself in a towel and went back to my room. Now I need to pick out an outfit to wear. Opening my cupboard I searched for something that was suitable for my first day. And a floral dress caught my eye. "YES" I took it out and smiled. I've never worn this before.

When I moisturised myself because that's important, is what my mum always said to me, as nobody likes dry skin, I put on the floral dress and white pumps. Then I applied a little bit of mascara and eyeliner. I didn't need foundation or concealer as I wasn't breaking out this month, which was a good sign beauty was on my side. "Perfect" I sighed in relief. For once in my life my makeup was perfectly done in a short amount of time.

I dried my hair with the towel then backcombed the front a bit to add some volume, before pulling it up into a high ponytail. My hair was long and golden blonde so I was lucky, but I'm not perfect. I've had plenty of breakouts and bad hair days worth at least 5 peoples life's.

So after about another 2 minutes of staring at myself in the mirror, I walked halfway down the stairs and tripped over Angus, my cat. "ANGUUUUUSSSSS!" I screamed. I landed straight onto my face. "NOSE BLEED UGHHH!" I covered my nose and walked to the bottom floor toilet. We have 2, one upstairs, I call that mine because nobody but me usually ever uses it, and the bottom one for everyone.

Rolling off loads of tissue, I tipped my head forward and got rid of as much blood as I could, then threw my head back and made sure all the blood rushed to my mouth and spat it out. I hate nose bleeds, drive me insane. "Well now I'm not hungry" I muttered. So I filled up Angus's milk bowl and food bowl.

My parents aren't in, my mum is on a business trip and won't be back until tomorrow night. My dad is in bed, he was out in the pub last night, as usual, and will be back there tomorrow, as usual.

My dad isn't like a normal dad. He likes to drink. Drink a lot. The doctor said it was an addiction but if he wanted to stop, he could go on detox and receive help, but stupid as he is, he chose not to. That's why my sister left, Danielle, she was fed up of his nonsense. She's 21 and I'm 17. We rarely see each other.

I picked up Angus in a death grip and hugged him, before grabbing my house keys and car keys, locked the door and got in my car. 8:10 the system read. I started up the engine, put on my seatbelt, and drove to school.

When I finally reached school, I drove into the car park and checked the time again. 8:45. "15 minutes left" I mumbled while grabbing my bag. I locking my car and walked through the gates. Straight away, I heard wolf whistles.
