Artist's Note:
I just wanted to note to everyone that this fan fiction/comic/fan art has been produced out of pure boredom/fun/crack or just for the hell of it.
I fully understand that there will be problems with my artworks and I'm not perfect.
I'm not a professional so i cannot guarantee that you will like it or not, of what i have created.
I am just a guy who likes anime/manga and Japan admirer. I love to draw my favourite characters with references, digital, copics, and watercolors.
So yeah, i remember how i got into sketching. I was 14 i guess. I would take pencil boxes, posters wallpapers etc. and use them as reference to draw.
I was so bad. But then i got a little better. I would have been much better had i continued.
So here are my suggestions to you if you're a beginner.
1. Draw A LOT. Draw anime characters, draw trees, birds, streets, object, buildings. Whatever you think would bring your novel alive. Start using actual anime pics. Eventually you will be able to draw anything that is still.
2. Look at arts from other artists. Try to learn what elements various artists try to emphasize. Eyes, Muscles, Hair whatever. Look at art from One-piece (there are so many details in a single panel and not every person has the same physical features), DBZ (closest physical features to reality-don't count the face or hair), etc.
3. See what you can do with just pencil first. Then take out copies of it and try shading, or coloring as much as you can. Until you think this looks good or even different.
4. Show your art to people of various age groups and ask their opinions. You want to know your target audience better.
Let me know what you think.
Copyright:
All of these photos are mine, if you ever try to steal them, that's ok. I am too lazy to hunt you down and to report you as long as they're not my final arts. I show all of my uncompleted arts here so no worries, you can have them as many as you like.
Most Important:
If you like someone's work, tell them. Don't STEAL from them.
Imitation can be flattering, but it can also be creepy and upsetting.
Everyone has a different limit for what is flattering and what is upsetting. Ask, or learn what each person line is.
