We have made mistakes,
But we have forgiven.
I was full of hate,
But I have forgotten.
I blocked the light,
that you longed to shine.
Fuck, you blocked me out,
with a bottle of wine.
You loved another,
But you never let go.
A tragic lead up,
to the most magnificent show.
Expectations tucked away,
Re-uniting on those early summer days.
Only fitting,
That I would meet your hopeful gaze.
I felt showered with contentness,
Finally basking in your light.
Who knew that allowing myself to be loved,
Would take such a fight.
You made me surrender,
Let us grow together.
We are where we're meant to be,
Let me love you forever.----
