'Kill the girl..' Says the cold voice.
It belonged to a man in a black hooded robe, I couldn't see his face, I never saw his face.
I stand on my trembling feet, holding an old steel knife in my sweaty hands, looking at the girl I was about to kill. She had fiery red hair, and big green eyes, who were about to be drained of all life inside them.
It's always the same girl.
I close my eyes, and thrust my hand forward.
My eyes open, I'm in my bed, waking up after having the dream again.
It's always the same dream. I look at my clock. 3 AM.
I get up to drink some water, my t shirt stuck to my back from all the sweat, and my eyes were bloodshot red.
I look out my bedroom window, the streets were so dark that I couldn't see a single ray of light.
'Cagehall..what a strange town.
Always dark and mysterious as fuck' I think to myself.
I look in the mirror, my light brown hair was messy and sticking up everywhere. I don't try to fix it, it always shoots back up.
BOOM!
It was one of those explosions you wish you never have to hear, it fills your ears and your head, and fills you heart with fear. I hear my parents rushing out of their bedrooms and we approach the window together without saying a word.
I don't know what I expected to see, fire? Buildings crashing? But I never would've expected to look out the window and see...
Nothing.
Absolutely nothing.
The streets all looked the same, just like they did two minutes ago, before we heard the exposion.
'What the fuck was that?' My dad asks..and the response is silence.
'I'll go check on Katie..' Says my mom, shaking her head as she heads to my little sister's bedroom, who I could see sitting on her bed frightened as mom opened the door.
My dad puts his hand on my shoulder .' Something bad is going to happen, son. I can feel it..be careful.'
He then leaves the room and goes to join mom and katie, then my parents both go back to their bedroom after calming katie down and putting her back to sleep, and they fall back asleep in their room.
I sit on my bed, the sound of the explosion seemed to still ring in my ear.
Fuck it.
That sound sure as hell didn't come from nowhere.
I have to find out what it was.
I put on my dirty nike shoes, grap my hoodie, and head outside the door without a second thought.
