Maybe it wasn't Jimin's choice that he got a job in Seoul. He honestly couldn't find a job in Busan even after searching and applying on countless companies. Maybe it was because of his studies. He always thought that passing was already enough.
He will only work at Seoul for a few months since it's just a temporary trial to see if he was qualified or not to be in the branch of Busan. Then he will be back to his hometown, working in their company branch there.
Other than that, working in Seoul means he had to leave everything behind, including his girlfriend, the only loved one he got. His parents were involved in a tragic accident years ago and died miserably.
Jimin fidgeted with his fingers. How should he tell Rahyun about this?
🍃
When Jimin appeared infront of Rahyun's apartment the next day... somehow Rahyun had already found out. She hugged him tightly, not wanting to let him go. Her eyes were swollen from crying too much.
"When will you leave?" was the first question that went out of her lips.
"This Saturday." he whispered.
Oh, how guilty Jimin felt when Rahyun tightened her hug, sobbing loudho than she ever had.
Jimin couldn't do anything but hug her back. He did not want to leave her... but it was for the best. For Jimin to build a better future for the both of them.
🍃
The day finally came. Jimin gave Rahyun one last kiss on her lips. A goodbye kiss. It was slow and tender. It made him want to cry.
They're going to be in a long-distance relationship, which will be a challenge for the both of them. But Jimin was sure, that they are going to be alright.
It is only for a few months, what can even happen?
