Amelia's P.O.V
I arrived at a long canteen table where some girls sat at the end I sat the opposite end to avoid any awkwardness between us. I had given up trying to find Katie and I knew that soon I had go to sign up for choir. I opened my bag to find a bowl canister which I grabbed along with a bottle of water, as I opened the canister a delicious smell of curry floated into the atmosphere and without I doubt I tucked in. 10 minutes of lunch passed until a large group of girls came over to sit on the table, one gave me dead eyes but the others just smiled wary of who I was. I knew it was 20 more minutes till my audition and the sign ups, 20 minutes until I could get out of this awkward situation, I didn't care about the girls sitting around me I just ignored their conversation and unbuckled my guitar case and took it out I got up and moved to the very end of the table so I was away from them I sat back down and began to play. As I finished playing I felt two hands on my shoulders it was jody,
"Hi, OMG that was amazing Amelia" Jody screamed, I gave her a little smile
"Thank you" I mumbled shyly.
"Hi my names Faith" I heard a voice say next to me, and then they all spoke up
"Hi my names Charlotte"
"My names Claudia"
"My names Emily"
"My names Syrena"
"My names Chloe"
"Hi my names Amelia" I replied back
"I must be on my way I've got an audition for choir" I announced, not as nervous as before.
"Bye see you later hopefully" Charlotte shouted as I headed up the stairs, maybe i am fitting in nicely here, I'm just glad no one knows I'm here to visit my brother. My full name is Amelia Lee and I was small when I got adopted and moved to Brazil and now I may get reunited with my brother!!!!
