In the last ten days of Ramadan I hope most of us are rushing to the masjid for taraweeh and qiamul lail. Even though we make full effort and attend it regularly we all are distracted by one thing. Especially the ladies.
The wailing of the babies that echoes throughout the masjid. Some are irritated at the mothers for bringing their children. Some waits till salaam impatiently to play with the baby. Many are just distracted.
Before anybody curses the mother or is distracted by the babies, I want us all to remember one thing to maintain our concentration on Salah.
Whenever you hear the baby wail, remember that it will be you wailing on the day of judgement. Remember the mother is there to take care of that baby. But nobody will be there to take care of you on the day of judgement. You will be wailing for the mercy of Allah. And you won't get it unless until with the help of Salah. Remember you are desperate for every Salah.
So do not look at the sobs of the kids as distraction. I think there is no greater remainder than a crying baby to keep your concentration on the Salah. Remember this and you will scared shitless everytime you hear a baby cry. You will seek Allah desperately. And nothing pleases Allah more than that.
P. S. It is simply a hack I found useful. It is not a fatwa or any authentic ruling issued by scholars.
May Allah over look our imperfection in our Salah and accept every Salah at his mercy.
