Chapter 10

   Nobody's POV

        Cassandra had been walking for what felt like hours. Everytime she thought she saw something, like a glimpse of light, it was either water or really reflective leaves.

She was getting frusterated. 'Why did Pan drop me?' She kept asking herself.

Crunch! Crunch! Crunch!

Cassandra whips her head aruond so fast she almost fell over. "Hello," she called out, "is anyone there?"

No response. She pushed that off and countinued walking, thinking about the past week.

                                                                         ~Flashback~        

The day before all of this happended.

"Hey mom! I'm home." She called out while shutting the door, trying to not let the cold air in.

"Hey sweetie!" She says hugging Cassandra from the back.

Cassandra shimmies out of her mothers grip, and slips out of her black and blue converse. She pushes her backpack back on her shoulder while it falls, and walkings into the kitchen.

"So how was school today?" Her mother asks.

Cassandra sat down at the kitchen table and started doing her homework, not saying a word.

"Cassy? Is everything okay?" Her mother said very concerned.

"Mom..... I feel like I don't belong here. Like this isn't what i'm supposed to be doing. People ask me why I don't look like either you or dad. They ask why I don't-" By that moment Cassandra was all chocked up.

Crunch! Crunch! Crunch!

"Hello?" She says.

"Hello dearest.

I am very sorry I haven't updated in a while. I have just been busy with somethings. And trying to figure out life. But here's an update. I want to try and updated atleast twice a week. But we will see how that goes. Anyway, hope everyone's enjoying their weekend!
