Chapter Five

When you got all the way down from climbing, Logan was gone. You tied your hair up then walked towards the beach again. Danny and Michael we're on the dock and Michael had a towel over his head. You walked over to them. "Why do you have a towel over your head? It's 100 degrees outside" Michael Sat up and took the towel off. "He has it on beca--" Danny started, but Michael hit him. "Because I don't want my face to get burned" Michael said. Danny jumped off the dock into the water. "Oh, I thought it was because you like y/n but you didn't wanna talk about it so you hid your face. " He said. "Your stupid" Michael said turning red. It got quiet. "So why did Logan storm off? " Michael asked to break the silence. "He got mad at me" You said. Danny splashed you and you hid behind Michael. He laughed. "We should get dry and go. " Michael said "Logan's probably waiting for us, and it's getting dark. " Danny got out of the water and Michael stood up. He held his hand out to you "Thanks" You said grabbing it. You guys walked to the car, and sure enough Logan was sitting in the drivers seat with the windows rolled up and the AC on, on his phone. He looked up and unlocked the doors. Danny got in the passenger seat and you and Michael got in the back. Then Logan pulled out and started to drive. It got dark quick on the way back to LA. Michael had his arm over the back of your seat and you layed your head on his shoulder. You were getting tired. He smiled at you and looked out the window blushing. You smiled.

You fell asleep, and about half way there you woke up. Danny and Michael we're asleep. Michael had his arm around you. Logan was focusing on the road. You guys met eyes in the mirror. "Hey" He said. "Hi" "Hey listen, about what happened earlier, in sorry I shouldn't have rushed things, I just like you and got ahead of myself. " He said. "It's ok Logan, don't think too much of it" You said smiling. He smiled to. You looked out the window for a while then layed your head back on Michaels shoulder. He looked cute when he sleeped.

Danny's P. O. V

"Michael..... Wake up, we're here" Michael opened his eyes and looked at y/n and smiled. You rolled your eyes and laughed. "Michael I'm tired wake your girlfriend up because I'm going inside" You said. Michael laughed. You went inside and sat on the couch next to Logan "Did you wake them up? " Logan asked. "I woke Michael up and told him to wake Y/N up" You told him. Logan layed back and rubbed his eyes. "I fucked up" He said. "How" You asked. Adjusting yourself towards him on the couch. He opened his eyes and turned towards you "We went to this cave that she found a while ago and we were talking then it got quiet and we were looking in each other's eyes and it seemed right so I just...Kissed her and she pulled away" You widened your eyes. "That's fucking embarrassing" You said he threw a pillow at you and you laughed. "You need to tell her your sorry bro" You said. "I did when we were in the car. She woke up for a little but she said don't worry about it" He said. "Then what are you stressed about? " You asked. "Because I like her dude but she doesn't like me and that's the worst. She's sending mixed fucking messaged and it's irritating but I like her" He said. "Logan chill, you've known her for TWO DAYS like don't fall in love get to know her, how many conversations have you had together? " Logan just rolled his eyes and got up and went to his room to take a shower. You blew a hump of breath shaking your head with your eyes wide and turned the T.V on.

End Of P.O.V

Y/N wake up" You opened your eyes and saw michael grinning. "Where is everyone? "

"Inside, we're at Logan's" Michael said. You leaned up shivering. "Wanna go inside ill give you one of my sweaters, and if you want to go home ill call you an Uber but you can stay if you'd like" Michael said. You smiled "It's fine ill stay and get an Uber in the morning" You told him. He smiled and got out of the car and then you did to. "The ground is freezing" You said. "I'll give you a piggyback ride" Michael said leaning down. You jumped on his back and wrapped your arms around his neck and giggled. He ran to the front door and opened it. Danny was on the couch watching T. V when you guys got inside. He looked at you guys closed his eyes and laughed. "What" Michael asked. "Moving fast arent you? " Danny replied. "It's a piggyback ride chill" You said laughing. You got off Michaels back and followed him to a room with two bunk beds (a guest room) "You can sleep in here with me and Danny, or on the couch if you'd like" Michael said turning around with a red RackaRacka sweater. " In here is fine" You said standing up. He handed you the sweater. "I'm still in my bathing suit" You said "I forgot my clothes in the car" "It's fine" He said "Me and Danny have like A Million of those in two colors" "A Million? " You asked smiling "Yeah" He said "That's our merch for our YouTube Channel" He said. You put on the sweater "It's soft" You smiled. It was big but cute. And it smelled like his Cologne. He sat down on the big bottom bed and you sat next to him. "So how did you get here? " You asked "Me and Danny took a plain" He said laughing "Well duh, I mean like when and why" You said. "A couple of months ago because we needed to find ourselves we were supposed to go back to Australia in two weeks, but me and Danny want to live here" He said. You smiled "What about you? Ohio huh" "Yea, I took a plain to I felt like I needed to go, my mom hated me so one day i got too overwhelmed and left. I went to my aunts until I raised enough money for a plain ticket and she payed for my apartment for a years lease" You said looking at Michael. "Why didn't your mom like you? " He asked. You looked downs and took a deep breath "You don't have to tell me" He said. "No it's fine.... Well I'll start from the begining, my little brother Nate, who's my best friend, he was 13 and I was 20. We went to this park that we went to all the time it was late December so it was snowing and we had a blast all day....

Flashback

Nate: let's make a snowman

You: ok put your gloves on I'll get the shovel out of my bag

You grabbed the little shovel and followed Nate where the snow was level and started digging to make the first ball.

You: So what do you want to be when your older?

Nate: A YouTuber, I already have a channel with videos, I have almost 200 subscribers.

You: That's amazing Nate why didn't you tell me?

Nate: Because I didn't want to tell you until I had a lot of subscribers so I could surprise you

You: 200 is a lot and I wouldn't care if you had 1 that's awesome that your starting what you want to be. What's your channel?

Nate: Nate's Show, but don't watch them when we're together because they're cringy

You: I've seen you make a video before and it was funny, I'm glad your posting them.

You guys got done with the snowman

Nate: Let's name it Bill

You: hahaha ok picture time smile Nate and Bill

You guys took a couple of goofy pictures then made snow angles.

You: we should go home now, we've been gone three hours dinners probably done.

Nate: Can we just play one game of tag?

You: ......... Fine but moms gonna be worried so let's hurry

Nate: yessss, ok I'll hide you count to thirty

He ran and you closed your eyes then counted to thirty

You: Ready or not here I come

You looked for about five minutes then saw him behind a tree with a wall of snow around it

You: got you

You ran towards him and he went to cross the street to get away from you he was laughing and his smile was so big. You heard a screeching sound and then a crash and screaming and saw your brother on the ground red snow and a car on fire. Everything was spinning and the next moment you were in an ambulance with your brother he was screaming in pain and blood was everywhere.

Nate: Y/N am I gonna die?

He asked you tears sliding down his face.

You: no Nate don't say that your gonna be fine I love you so much

You were crying so much with your hand on his face. They took him inside the hospital and you waited in the waiting room while they called your parents, when they came your mom was screaming demanding to see her child you were crying people were holding your dad back then a doctor came out with a deep look on his face and told us that Nates heart stopped beating because he lost too much blood. Your mom and dad we're crying hard and you didn't know what to do or feel it was too much you were crying hard you ran outside and kneeled on the ground you stayed there for half an hour then you heard footsteps and looked up, it was your mom, she told you it was your fault, you should've had him by your side. The funeral was one of the worst parts, everyone crying your mom wouldn't even look at you.

Your dad ended up passing away four years later because of cancer and your mom lost it. She hated you and anything that breathed. She told you to leave and said she never wanted to see you again. You packed your things and went to your aunts and stayed their for a year then moved to LA wanting to get away and start fresh.

End Of Flashback

"........ I'm so sorry " Michael said you were crying and Michael wrapped his arms around you and you did the same to him. Eventually you fell asleep on his shoulder.
