Carmen has had a rough life growing up starting from her birth where her mother passed while having her . Her father was no where to be found . Carmen has been in multiple terrible foster homes .
Now that she's a new school it's Just the Beginni...
"We don't have the same mom so I can only say so many things about your mom . Just letting you know." I look at Carmen with sympathy.
"Umm okay . Where's dad?" She ask pulling her knees up to her chest of the couch . I notice she does that when she's nervous .
"A prison in Buffalo . Well he could be out by now . Not sure ?"
"Why did he go to jail ?"
"After your mom died he was really like depressed for a long time then he became angry at the world .It's like something in him broke . He use to beat me sometimes rape then one night he just kept going like he was trying to kill me and you starting screaming to and the neighbors heard . Even before that he lashed out on everyone so all our aunts uncles cousins even our grandma disowned us . When I ran away I tried to find grandma but she and the rest of them moved . So I had to try and survive on my own ."
FLASHBACK 8 years ago ( 16years old) MORGAN POV
"AND DONT YOU COME BACK DAMIT!" She yelled from the stairs.
"FUCK YOU AND I WONT !" I yell running out of the group home .
"Hmm where do I go ?" I ask myself looking around .
"Shit.. TAXI !" I yell at the cars flying past me at the speed of light .
One of the taxis stop in front of me " where to ?"
"Umm is there any close bars?" He looks at me and nods before driving across town to a bar that was next to the tattoo shop .
"Umm how much ?" I ask getting out my wallet only to find I only have $20 , my student ID and my fake ID .
"Uhh it's free .. stay safe kid !" He lets me out and drives away .
Sense today was a weekday there was basically no one at the bar except a group of dudes and one girl in the corner do who knows what . "Can I get a strawberry vodka please thanks !" I hand him my ID and five dollars . Thank god this place is cheep "SHAWTY !" I heard a deep voice yell . I looked around and noticed I'm the only other girl here . "Wussup?" I ask them seeing there all looking at me.
"Why you up in here all by ya self and shit. Look lonely as hell ." They all laugh .
"And you look like your breathe stinks but did I say anything no . Therefore leave me the the fuck alone thanks !" I say and look down at my now absolutely dead phone . "Ahhh you got a flip phone . Who the fuck still got those !" A light skin dude says getting attention from the rest of the boys and all look at my phone before laughing ." "YO IM NOT IN THE FUCKIN MOOD FOR THESE DAMN JOKES. NOW SHUT THE FUCK UP BEFORE I HOP OFF THIS STOOL AND SMACK YOU WITH IT!" I scream at them before chugging the rest of my vodka so I can leave .
"Well damn sorry ma ! We was just playing ." The brown skin out his hands up in surrender . "Ugh whatever ... what's yaw names."
