Bleeding around the edges,
Not able to suffer.
Suck it up you say,
Things could be rougher.
Treat me brutally,
Hold back my tears.
Easily abuse me,

Choke back my screams.
Watery eyes and parched cheeks,
Invisibly run down my face in streams.

No one seeing what you're doing,
Shouldn't this be a sin?
It doesn't matter what you do,
I tell myself to stay strong.
These bruises give me hope,
Because good always trumps wrong.
