One friday, Virgil didnt answer when Patton called. Virgil just wanted to sleep the whole night away so he wouldnt have to deal with Roman and Logan. But as usual Patton had to come into Virgils room and drag him out of bed to join the others. Tonight was movie night, Patton normally was in charge of friday nights.

So Patton went around the day before and asked everyone what they wanted to watch. Virgil said that he wanted to watch The Nightmare Before Christmas. And Roman had a plan, he knew that scary movies hightened Virgil's anxiety, so Roman voted for The Conjuring. Of course Logan voted the same since Roman wanted to watch it. And Patton didnt care what they watched as long as he got to spend time with the others.

On the counch from right to left normally sat, Patton, Logan, Roman, and Virgil tried to sit as close to the edge away from Roman as possiable. Since they were watching a scary movie Virgil was terrified. He didnt want to sit any closer to Roman so he asked if he could sit next to Patton. Of course Roman had something to say about that,"what, do you wanna go cry to dad...go ahead coward." This made Virgil feel so upset but he just tried to ignore it. But Virgil did just that and sat next to Patton. Everytime there was a jump scare Virgil would burry his face in Pattons arm. Patton realized how shook up Virgil was so he put his arm around Virgil to comfort him. Virgil liked the contact, it made him feel safe. But as each jump scare Virgil got closer and closer to Patton until Virgil was in Pattons lap. Of course Patton didnt mind it because Patton was the dad figure so when Virgil ended up in Pattons lap Patton felt needed and they both felt comforted.

As the movie ended Roman and Logan both had fallen asleep. Virgil was glad that they did so he said "Hey Pat...can I go to my room before you wake them up pleeeaaasseee?" And of course Patton couldnt resist Virgils pleases so he nodded and Virgil ran off to his room. Logan had fallen asleep cuddled up to Roman so of course Patton had to snap a quick photo before waking them up. So Patton woke the two up and they all went to sleep.
