Izuku is jealous of the close relationship of Katsuki and Eijro, also they're in their 3rd.

Why.

Why won't he notice me?

I've gotten stronger haven't I?

It's been 2 years since we both enrolled at this school.

We grew up together, fought together, cried together, laughed together.

And yet, why... why are you still so far away from me?

Why can't you see me? Why won't you look at at me?

Is it because of him?

It is, isn't it.

I know he's your friend, but aren't I too?

Friend... that word hurts me.

I hate that word.

I hate just being friends with you when I know we could be more.

I know it's selfish to think but, I wish he'd stop talking to you.

I'd wish you'd stop looking at him.

I'd wish you would look at me, I'd wish you'd give me a chance.

Please look at me!

No matter how hard I try, no matter the feats I'd accomplished, your eyes wouldn't look in my direction, not even in the slightest.

Not even a glance. Not even a thought.

Please just... look at me...

Please...

I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock, the sun shining through my curtains.

I rolled over to turn off the loud noise, groaning as I did.

I crawled out from under my sheets to be meet with a chilled bedroom floor, my feet flinching at the cold touch.

Refusing to let my feet get cold I rummaged about in my bed to find any socks.

"Yes!" I cheered quietly to myself, I found a pretty fresh pair of wool socks that were under the sheets, probably pushed them off as I was sleeping or something.

I donned them on, now immune to the cold floor I made my way to greet my mother and get some good old breakfast.

I was quick getting ready this morning, normally I'm a little later but I was more efficient.
