Chapter 2 "A Sleep Over's and Royals"

Sophia's POV
I wake to getting shaken by Maddie.
"What Maddie"
"There hear" Maddie says it scared "What do you mean" I say "The Royals are here" "Get dressed into pretty clothes". I look at my floral dress in the mirror as I put my hair up. "Sophia can you do my hair, please" she whispered not wanting to brake the silence. "Sure" I whisper. As I'm putting her hair up into a plat I'm finding it hard to focus, thinking about what's going to happen today. "There you go" "Thanks Soph" "Don't worry" she comments. "What"
"Your worried"
"I.." I try to protest but she interrupts "It's the face, you always do that face when your nervous......" Maddie pauses then continues. "Everything is going to be fine because things happen for a reason"she calmly whispers. Sometimes it's hard to forget that she's only 10 years old. We walk down the stairs in silence waiting for what's ahead. But quickly I stop and hold Maddie back so she can't move and interrupt mums conversation. I hear my mum upset voice.
"But you can't take them it's not fair plus they are not royals"
"sorry mam but I'm under strict orders".
"Who's that" Madd's questions says sounding distressed. "Shh....." I hold my finger up to my mouth."I don't know". I turn back to the conversation the man who I think is a royal and mum"And they will be turned into royals". Who's they there's so many questions running through my mind. "Sorry but if you don't obey I will have to put you under arrest" he harshly spits. "Come on Maddie lets go upstairs" I wave pointing to our room. We walk to our room and close the wooden door. And as I turns I see tear stains on Maddie's beautiful silky face. I instantly feel guilty I should've waited for them to come upstairs."Everything's going to be ok I promise" I put my hand out to do our handshake. We finish laughing as we fall onto her newly designed bed. We hear our door open and two beautiful girls walk in. I instantly recognise them, their Winter and Summer Rose
I don't know what to do I just stand there shocked why are Winter and Summer in my room! They never come to anything! My thoughts overload with questions and curiousity. Why, Why are they here, what are they doing here. "Umm hi I'm Madison but you can call me Madd's and this is Sophia but you can call her Soph!" Madison says calmly while dismissing the awkwardness in the room.
