The Flamingo Society, established in 1982 as the first and at its time the only women's club in the entirety of New York. It was established for young girls from rich families.
Wealth was and still is the core of FS, it will always be. If you weren't wealthy you didn't know it existed and if you did there was no way you could be let in.
Girls with money would learn how to be respectable young ladies at the club back then but now it'a nothing but a group of girls with power, red bottom heels with their middle finger up.
The entire society is a dynamic that cannot be broken. It's free thought, expression, and shared knowledge between peers and upperclassmen that has been unbroken for decades. So, a question stands, what would happen if someone outside the world which these girls live in somehow finds their way into it.
