Chapter Three - Fear

I'm playing a video game with Rose she may not be very good at it but Mom is at work and Dad is looking for work, so it's just her and I at home together. Harry is at school, but I haven't seen him since my fall. Elsa said she and Kat would come over after school with some food. Rose and I play games. She sings and dances for me and I make her sock puppets. I wish I could play tag with her but me back still hurts so badly. Yesterday when Hermione came to visit me and bring/ help me with my homework, she brought a bottle of Skele-Grow so now I may be able to walk again!

'bzzz bzz!' my phone goes off.

Can I bring Anna with me?

Yeah sure

She wants to bring sandwitches.

Cool see ya after school.

I doze off while Rose watches a movie.

"Look Lila! It's snowing! Do you wanna build a snowman?" Rose squeals.

I check the clock. 3:27 it flashes, school ends at 3:00.

"It's just Elsa can you go open the door for her? But check through the window first!" I ask her. But she is already opening the door.

"Hey Rosie, this is my friend Katniss and my little sister anna, she's 11!" I hear Elsa's voice.

"Hi!" Rosie answers "Lila's upstairs."

"Great thanks! Olaf, you're gonna melt out there, come inside."

"Hi! I'm Olaf and I like warm hugs"

"I'm Rosie! Let's play!" Olaf, Anna, and Rosie are playing in the kitchen from what I can hear.

Elsa and Katniss come into my room, Elsa gets another blanket for me and sits at the foot of my bed.

"How ya feeling?" Kat asks.

"Blaugh" I make a sick face like I am about to puke.

"That bad huh?"

"Yeah."

"Well Hermione had something to do this evening although she wouldn't tells us what, so we brought your homework," Elsa says.

"Thanks!" We work on our homework together and when we finish its only 4:30 so we talk.

"And then Jack spelled out in ice 'homcoming?' and I was like 'yes! yes! yes!'"

"Aww that's adorable" Kat says, "well I better get home to Prim"

The little sisters push Olaf into the room, he is adorned in oranges, apples, grapes, and wait- is that cheese?

"Anna?!" Elsa scolded, "what were you thinking!"

"We thought Olaf needed more than just a carrot!" Anna squealed.

"Go on home, Jack said he would give you a ride home" Elsa told Anna.

"K. See you later Elsa! Come on Olaf!" Anna skipped out of the house.

"I'm gonna go sing in my room Lila" Rosie went into her room.

Now it was just Elsa and I. We were watching our favorite Wednesday night tv shows.

"So Glimmer came back to school today she was wearing a ridiculous cast on her arm"

"She was?"

"Yeah she got everyone to sign it, even the band"

"She is such a fake!" I was getting heated, very heated.

My phone buzzed.

"Hello?" I asked

"Why hello Lila, how are you feeling today?" the voice on the other line asked.

"Ugh, speaking of the devil. How did you get this number?"

"I have my ways"

"What do you want?"

"I want you to know that I have people who are going to ruin your life and make you wish you never had passed that note."

The line went dead.

Rose screamed.

"Rose?! Are you okay?"

She kept screaming.

I tried to get up to help her, but Elsa said, "No stay down."

I heard the twinkling of her ice powers and felt a chill. Then I heard her muffled screams.

I staggered out of bed and made my way down the hall. My back was searing with pain I had forgotten to take my pills at 4:00. I finally made it to Rose's room the door was shut and a little frozen with ice crystals I banged on the door. I pushed all my weight on the door. The pain multiplied. I gave one last heave and the door bursted open.

A hooded figure with eyes like blood and blond hair stood in the middle of the room staring at me. Rose and Elsa had cloth over there mouths and were being held by two figures.

"Let go of them!" I screamed. Black dots showed up at the edges of my vision.

The hood girl spoke with a soft whispering voice. "I'm afraid we cannot do that"

"What do you want with them?"

"We want nothing with them. We were merely hired to get a message across. Your life will be a living hell and if you try to end it yourself, we will be there to make sure you won't be able to do that."

She lifted out a hand to me and pain like tongues of fire coursed through my body. I knew it was this girl's doing. She dropped me on the ground. Rose and Elsa were thrown down too.

The girl spoke in her icy voice, "Come on, let's get something to eat before we have to go back to Aro. I am thirsty."

They disappeared.
