Meeting you

"Mom! Is that the last of the boxes?" I asked my mother.

My name is Erin, I'm from the USA but I just moved to Australia with my mom and two older brothers Dustin and Sage. My father and little sister April passed away 6 years ago in a car accident, he and April were in the car and they got in an argument and he then lost control and drove off the bridge. I guess we moved just to get away from everything, don't ask why we moved to Australia

"Yes hun" my mother yelled making me come back to life.

"Can I go look around?" I asked

"Sure hunny, but be back by 9" my mom said

I put on some purple flip flops and walked out of the house. As I was walking down the street I saw four boys playing basketball. (I live in America so idk if Australians play that but we do for fun) I also saw three girls sitting on the steps talking.

"Who are you?" One of them with curly blonde hair and a bandana on calls out to me.

"My name is Erin." I said

"We haven't seen you around" one with spiky green hair said.

"I just moved here." I said. Also noticing a very attractive boy with blonde hair, blue eyes and a lip piercing was paying no attention to me at all while playing basketball by himself now.

"Ohhh, well I'm calum and I'm not Asian" I let out a laugh when he said that.

"I'm Michael" the one with the green hair said.

"I'm Ashton." The curly hair boy said

I looked over at the boy still playing basketball.

"That's Luke." Ashton said quietly. "I'm sorry about him, it takes a while for him to open up for people."

"It's okay, I understand." I said truly because of my past. "Well I'm going to get going, I have to be home soon." I said looking at my phone.

"Here, give us your number." Michael said and we all traded phones, everyone except Luke

"Bye boys." I said

"Bye!!" Ashton Calum and Michael said

"Bye Luke." I whispered

"Right on time" my mother said to me when I got home. "There is some left over dinner in the microwave, we don't have a table so feel free to eat where ever you'd like but be sure to clean up your mess." My mom told me

"Thanks mom." I said and gave her a hug

I grabbed my food, it was pancakes and bacon, my favorite. Breakfast for dinner!

I walked upstairs into my bed room. I really need to paint this room, I thought. My thoughts got interrupted by my phone vibrating. I looked at my phone.

Luke:

Can we start over? Meet me at the park.

Me:

Okay, I will be there in 5

"Goodnight mom!" I yelled to my mother.

"Goodnight sweetie" she yelled back. With that I put of some black skinny jeans, a black tank top, a red flannel, and my black combat boots. I opened my window and started walking to the park.
