A life turned around

Chapter 4: The Reunion

                 • Carter's P.O.V •

     When the managers told us that Magcon was having an event near Woodland where Cassidy lived, I nearly fell off my chair and choked on the Chipotle burrito I was eating. I glanced at Mahogany and Mahogany glanced at me and we both grinned happily.  

   I was getting ready for Mahogany's get together as quickly as I could. I made sure I cleaned up extra nice because Cassidy would be there . Cass , me , and Mahogany were all bestfriends in middle school and we practically did everything together. When we left for Magcon, I couldn't even say goodbye without breaking down into tears because we were all so close. During the years I knew Cassidy , I did develope a huge crush on her. But I never told anyone . Not even Mahogany.

   I quickly sped down the freeway to the direction of Mahogany's house and texted her I was on my way. Once I got to the house, I didn't even bother knocking on the brown wooden door. I burst in. "Where is she ??" I yelled happily. I turned to my left and saw the same beautiful Cassidy I remembered. Only she was grown and even more beautiful. And she smiled that perfect smile I missed and loved so much. She threw herself into my arms and we hugged for what seemed the longest time.

"How have you beed Chika ??" I ask with a laugh after we pull away from eachother.

"I've been...alright. And you?" She responds.

"I've been great !" I laugh. We sit down on the couch next to Matt, who, for some reason, seemed annoyed. We talk for over an hour, catching up. Then Jack G comes and asks me to company him to the store to get some drinks. I sigh but nod and say 'Later' to Cassidy and leave with Jack.

                 • Cassidy's P.O.V •

    Once I saw Carter, I couldn't help myself but shriek his name and give him a huge hug. We laugh like we used to. We go over to the couch next to Matt. I could say me and Matt got as close as me and Carter are in less than three hours. Once Carter leaves, I turn back to Matt and smile. He seemed bothered by something.

  "You okay?" I ask.

"What ? Oh, yeah . Just...thinkin' "

"About... ?"

  "Things. " he respinds and I nod.

  "So, hey I was kinda wondering if you wanted to go get some Starbucks with me and the guys? We were just planning it..." Matt says and I smile and nod.

"Sure" Sounds great!" I reply to him with a smile. He smiled and looked back at me.

  When Carter and Jack get back with the drinks , we break the news to them that we decided to go to Starbucks instead. We all laugh. We go in three seperate cars. Taylor, Mahogany, Carter and Nash in Mahogany's car. Hayes , Me , Matt and Shawn in another car , and Jack G and Jack J in Jack G's car. On the way, me and Matt talked about things. We got really close and I feel like I could tell him anything. He invited me to the Train museam. Of course, I said yes. Almost at the same time I said yes, I got a text from Carter inviting me to the Crocker museam the same day and time me and Matt were supposed to go to the Train museam. I didn't know what to do. Carter, I've known forever. He's sweet and caring . Matt, I just met him but we've already gotten so close. I know he cares about me and he's funny. I dont know why, but even if I have only known him for a day, I think I like Matt.
