Before I notice it, I realized I do not know how I got here.
The basking sunlight, and heat being filtered by the foliage atop my position. A gust of wind blew through the grass towards my direction, like an infinite wave of green water passes through me. The smell of moist soil and green grass follows with the wind, smelling the fragrance as I breathe through my nostrils. The wind carried through and entered the forest behind me, rustling the leaves on the trees.
After some time of standing and looking my surrounding without moving where I initially lied from, I decided to sit and ponder everything just has happened.
Mix feelings came by as I examined what happened as the soothing feeling of nature comes.
"What did just happen?"
I ask myself as I try to calm down.
I remembered I was feeling sick after work, cross a crossway, and I clearly see that I was sent flying by that truck. Did I really die?
While asking that I continued to pinch and holding my breath, testing my guess. Then I notice my body figure and size.
I'm still alive, surely, but my body seems a little bit small.
'It seems I have been transferred to another world' I thought out loud.
A common occurrence and plot of many anime, manga, and novels. Without any more conclusion to think, being transferred into another world was the only answer.
My delusional and otaku mind kicks in with delight but my adult perspective was that '24 years of living was just for that' with following remarks of 'what waste'. To die at a young age, without achieving anything, and leaving my sister's last wish in vain.
"Find friends who you can trust."
Unfortunately, I didn't follow her wishes. And here I am now. With this second chance, I would find a friend.
With that conclusion in my mind, I stood up. As if death again visited me again, my heart began to race faster, my breathing began to stiff, and the surrounding darken.
In a moment, the air seemed to freeze again. The world silent itself, I began choking, gasping for air.
'Does this body have some defect or sickness?'
I thought while grasping my chess.
Without any resolution of what's going on, I place my knees on the grass and continued my grasp.
'Is this already the end?'
-And thus, similar to a night falling like a curtain, everything dims to black.

Narrator's POV
"Theo!!"
A woman's voice echoed through the forest, with the intention of looking the boy she's looking, she repeatedly called out for his name.
Determined to look for the boy, with the idea of where the boy went, she proceeded to enter the forest.
The boy, Theo, running through the forest, as if he knows the forest very well, dodges every obstruction in his way with ease.
After some time of running through the forest, the kid didn't worry about getting lost, getting deeper and deeper, and the forest seemingly had no end.
But at the boy's perspective, he knows the place very well; even it was his first time getting there.
It was because of the boy's origin. He was a half elven, half human and half elf, although his appearance was like of a human, his instinct was of an elf.
As he was reaching the end, he saw the bright light and saw the vast grassland ahead of him, but he stop immediately when he heard someone familiar calling his name.
Without a second thought he runs back to the place he was being called out.
The woman who was calling him was his personal maid, but because of attachment to each other, the honorifics between them were non-existent.
The woman, Ariane, gave up lurking for more in the forest, as she was turning around and started to walk, Theo shouted out calling her.
"Ariane! Sorry for the wait."
Seeing him again, her worried has been lifted, sighing for worrying for nothing, she replied back,
"The lunch was already ready."
"Sorry, sorry. Hehehe."
Laughing while cutting their distance, he covered their distance and continued by walking with her to the house.
