Chapter Nine

Niall's Pov:

Sunday was amazing! Our fans are brilliant! We got through! The overwhelming feeling that erupts inside you when you hear your name being called, It's an indescribable feeling, I can't explain how it feels because you will never know unless you've experienced it. Me and the boys were becoming closer each day. It was hard seeing an act leave the show but we all knew it would happen we were just thankful it wasn't us. I wasn't just thankful about getting closer to the boys, I was thankful that I was getting closer to Zayn, Were at the stage in our friendship where were extremely cuddly, As the competition goes on we all need that extra cuddle once in a while, I always found myself going to Zayn for mine, It was something about the way he wrapped his arms around you, The way he smelt, He always held you so tightly to his body it was like he'd known you forever. I loved that feeling.

Today I don't know why but I was feeling really down, I think I was missing home so desperately. Now don't get me wrong I love the boys but there family are so close by, All they have to do is get in a car, But for me mine were a plane ride away, I missed them so much everyday but I knew I'd see them again real soon, Even thought I knew this I couldn't help the sad feeling that's over taking me. 

"Niall!" I heard my name being called, I snapped out my thoughts to see Zayn standing there. 

"Yeah?" I replied looking at him.

"The Sainsbury's cooks want me to make Quesadilla's, I wanted to know if you wanted to make them with me?" Zayn asked smiling. 

"I'd love that" I replied before getting to my feet. 

"You will see them soon you know" Zayn said before slinging his arm over my shoulder, I looked at him with a confused look "Your family" He added, I nodded pulling a smile for him, He chuckled and we made our way down the stairs. 

Zayn's Pov:

Cooking with Niall was fun, He chopped the onions while I chopped the peppers, We grabbed a bowl adding the onions to it, I couldn't help but tease Niall, It was just so easy, While we were putting the onions into the bowl mine and Niall's fingers grazed together, I quickly pulled my hand away feeling a spark straight away, I then left Niall to it to cook the food. The lady helping asked if he heard the base sizzling he placed his ear against it to listen, I couldn't help but chuckle he was so adorable. I was kind of worried that he was going to burn himself but I kept my distance feeling proud of him. Niall ended up flipping the Quesadilla and he was so happy when he done it, I loved his reaction he had the most beautiful smile on his face, Of course Geneva made it out not to be a big deal but I was so proud of him, When nobody was looking I wrapped my arms around his waist whispering into his ear.

"They taste delicious, You can cook them for me anytime" I said before giving him a quick kiss to the cheek and walking off, Niall quickly slapped my ass making me chuckle, It's become a habit of ours, we slapped eachothers ass alot, But for me having Niall touch me it was something more, But I'd never admit to it. After all he's the first boy I've ever had, I supposed feelings for, This is all new for me, Who know's maybe in time it will pass?

-A few days later-

Today we done our second video diary. We were alot more comfortable in front of the camera thank god. I was sat at the back once again, Niall and Harry were infront of me, And Louis and Liam was at the front. I was so hyped up for this video diary that when we were talking about the first live show I grabbed Niall and Harry's faces and ruffled there hair, Although I have to admit I held onto the back of Niall's neck a little longer enjoying the close contact with the boy. The ultimate question came along, 'What do we look for in a girl?' I rolled my eyes trying to keep my head down. Louis reply made Niall laugh, And I don't mean a small chuckle I mean his adorable contagious joyful laugh, I looked at him lovingly, He was so carefree how could a human being be this perfect? 

"I like girls that are cute and have a good personality" Niall said, I couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy rush through me when he said this, I tried to act as natural as I could hoping my jealousy, if that's what it was didn't show. 

"I look at a girls smile, If she's got a nice smile, It pretty much makes everything else worth while" I replied, Niall replied to my comment with a hint of what I thought was sarcasm in his voice. 

"Would you like to depress anyone else?" Was Niall jealous? No he couldn't be, Could he? We then moved onto being asked what our favorite songs were Niall answered with Viva La Vida, He then turned around looking at me.

"Well my favorite song has definitely got to be Barbie Girl" I replied, Niall laughed at this. After a few seconds I turned my head to see Niall's beautiful face looking at me, I couldn't help but smile at him, We shared a little moment before Niall looked away, I tried to act as though I was looking at Liam but I was secretly staring at Niall out of the corner of my eye, I think I'm falling for my band mate.

You know where I said, I think I'm falling for my band mate? Well it was a lie, Because I'm 100% falling for Niall Horan. My suspicions were confirmed in rehearsal today. Harry had been saying he's been feeling pretty sick, Whenever he tried to sing he felt as though he was going to throw up, Of course we were all worried for him, He's our friend so we obviously want him to be ok. Then there was the performance to worry about, But Harry's health was the main concern for us all. Harry felt so sick he began to cry during our rehearsal, Niall being the kind hearted person he is, Rushed to him and held him in a tight hug, My insides knotted together. I wanted Niall to hold me like that. I knew I shouldn't be feeling jealousy towards Harry but I seriously was. I then made my way over to them giving Harry a small rub on the head letting him know it was all ok. Harry had to go to the doctors meaning he would miss rehearsal. 

"Alright guys we have to hold it together, For Harry's sake" Liam said bringing us all together. 

"I'm worried about him Liam" Louis admitted, Liam sighed before hugging him. I saw Niall with his head down so I walked over to him pulling him to my chest, Niall's head dropped to my shoulder. I know it's not an appropriate time to say this, But I really am falling for this boy. 

-Saturday Night-

Harry was back with us in time for the performance, We were performing, My Life Would Suck Without You, I couldn't help but think of Niall throughout the whole performance. Every lyric from that song made me fall deeper for the Irish lad, My life would suck without him, And even though it had only been around two months I feel that we belong together, I don't know why so please don't ask me to explain it. It was just something about Niall, Our eyes met for a mere moment in the performance but it made all the difference, I then began to sing the song as though I was singing it to Niall, Maybe one day I will be able to.

After the performance we were sitting backstage watching the rest of the show, Niall came and sat right beside me leaning his head into my shoulder blade.

"Thank you Zi" He said, I looked at him confused. 

"What for?" I asked.

"Just being there, Letting me lean on you" He replied. 

"Lean on me whenever your not strong Niall, I'll help you carry on" I replied, Niall chuckled. 

"Your so corny" He said, I blushed before chuckling "Love you Zayney" Niall said with a big grin. 

"Love you Nialler" I replied giving him a tight squeeze, Niall buried his head deeply into my neck, I sighed before mumbling to myself "More than you will ever know" I mumbled the rest of the sentence, Feeling that mumbling was all I'd ever be able to do.
