Dean has always hated class fieldtrips. He saw no point in going to them. He scowled as he stepped onto the bus. His 6th grade class had a fieldtrip to the wayward beekeeping society.
He hated bees and everything about them. Today was going to be a horrible day.
He sat next to his friend, Crowley on the bus so he wouldn't be completely bored out of his mind. The old bus jumped as they hit every pothole in Kansas.
His phone was dead so he couldn't go on that and Crowley was using his charger.
At last, they pulled into the beekeeping farm. One look around and he he hated it already. His class lined up for the head count.
As soon as he finished, he slipped away to be by himself. he walked around a little, getting chased by bees every so often.
He came across a shallow creek and saw a lone figure sitting on the other side. It was a young boy, around his age. He wore a dirty trench coat and hat a dark shirt with a bee print on the torso. He had black, messy hair and as dean looked closer, he notices the boy had the bluest eyes humanly possible, framed by wide glasses.
Dean lost his gaze in the boys eyes, buy was snapped out of it when the boy spoke.
"hello? Who are you?" the boy had a deep, raspy voice like gravel. He fixed his glasses and waited for a reply.
"h-hi. My name is dean. You are...." The boy realized he didn't introduce himself. "oh! My name is Castiel, son of the beekeepers here. Are you part of that class that came today?" the boy asked friendlily. Dean nodded his head.
He noticed Castiel had something small in his hand. "what's that?" Dean asked.
Castiel smiled and held out his hand. A small black and yellow bee sat in his open palm. Dean jumped back.
"w-wont it sting you?!" Dean stuttered. Castiel laughed. "of course not! Theyr only mean to you if you are to them. Want to hold him?"
Dean nodded. The boy carefully slid the bee into the Dean's hand. At first it tickled, but then it just sat there and rubbed its antenna. A loud yell of Castiels name scared both of them.
"Castiel!! Time for lunch!!" Castiel looked down. That's Gabriel, my older brother. I need to go soon.
Dean stared into the boys sad eyes and as if it was on instinct, leaned in for a kiss. At first, when theire ips collided, Castiels eyes went wide. Then he slowly started to ease into the kiss.
When Dean broke it apart, They were both shocked. Castiel smiled, gave him a quick peck on the cheek then said goodbye and turned to go inside his small house. He rushed backin with one more smile to Dean, and closed the door.
Dean had a great time on the trip after all, and definitely had plans to go back one day.
