Naah who cares!
''Someone's getting down today.'' I whispered to myself smirking.
I took a one last look in the mirror before going down. High waisted ripped jeans, grey crop-top along with some slight cuts on sleeves and black converse outlined with white doesn't look that bad on me. I have a blunt lob haircut with side bangs on my caramel coloured hair which goes well with my tanned skin. I completed my look with a little bit of mascara.
The sound of my creaking door echoed through the corridor as I locked it. My pace became slow as staircase neared just so that I don't slip on my so-called 'familiar' stairs while rolling down like a sponge ball and land to the floor with broken legs, scrapped elbows, severe haemorrhage and dislocated jaw. Pfft its so hard.
Thankfully I passed through that mouth of death and made my way to the kitchen. I've always thought we've a pretty comfy home unless there's no blitz of uninvited guests crashing here who makes their life mission to assault us with their stupid puns and to not leave this house until I get to my level of throwing them out. My brother was already in the kitchen having cereals. But just as I entered the kitchen-
His spoon slipped through his hands and he shrieked,
''MOM''
No answer
''MOMM'' This time a little louder.
''There isn't any clown dancing in the kitchen Ian, I've already told you before and don't you dare watch IT again.''My mom's voice came from her room somewhat irritated. Well who can blame her?
''But mom it isn't about that.''
This time my mother didn't answered him. Again, who can blame her?
''Who are you and what did you do to my sister?'' He asked me pointing with trembling fingers and faking horror as if I was Waska.
This kid.
''Good morning to you too Amore.'' I walked past him to grab some milk.
Ian Easter, the most youngest member of our family and the most craziest too. I guess that's the stereotype about younger siblings that 'the first born rule the world and the last born want to change it'. Our pathetic self spend the first half of childhood making parents proud while the younger ones get all the love and the second half in rivalry for affection and attention of our parents along with the 'They're gonna learn from you so behave well' thing from mom. But whatever it is I love my brother more than anything unless... he don't touch my hair.
Just as I took my seat, he turned his chair and grabbed a fork from the counter in a swift movement and brought it to my throat.
I squealed, captured by surprise.
