i had to miss a day of school due to a family vacation.

"i won't be here tomorrow," i sigh.
"w-what?!"
"i have a vacation."
"o-oh. well have fun! we will still text right?"
"of course!" i smile.
neither of us knew what to expect that weekend would bring us.
and to this day,
it is still my least favorite family vacation.
