백일몽 (daydream)

day no.10

Eunha slowly opened her eyes.
It took a moment for her sight to adjust to the bright room.

She looked around the room and tried to gather her thoughts on where she was. She was well aware of what happened after laying still for about five minutes.

She was in the hospital because of Wendy and her friends. Was Eunha mad. No. Was she going to do anything about it. Probably not.

When she was in a long daze she heard a knock on the door and jungkook walked in.
perfect timing

"Eunha your finally awake"
Jungkook said with a wide smile.

finally? How long have a been out?
Eunha was obviously off in space thinking.

"you've been asleep for three days... the doctor said that it seemed as if you haven't been eating enough and what happened didn't help the matter"

Eunha didn't even realize she had been skipping meals.

"well the nurses said that you  were going to be discharged once you woke up"

Eunha still hadn't said anything. She was still in shock form everything that had happened.

Eunha had gotten one last check up before she had gotten dressed and left the hospital with jungkook.

Jungkook and Eunha were sitting in the car on the way to Eunhas house. Eunha was looking out the window. She was admiring the vast grass lands and woods on the highway wondering how nice it might be to just be free and away from her controlling parents.

She still hadn't said anything.

"Are you alright?"
Jungkook asked still keeping his eyes on the road.

Eunha then turned to face him. Her face displayed a look that told a thousand words. She really couldn't believe he asked if she was alright when he just found out she hadn't been eating and that she had been beaten by a classmate.

Jungkook looked for a quick second to see the look she was showing. He then looked back at the road with sadness in his eyes.

Why does he care. He is only taking care of me because we are supposed to be together for family business.

The rest of the ride was silent. They had finally pulled up to Eunhas house. She automatically got out of the car and went in side without saying thank you nor goodbye.

She quickly walked up the stairs and went straight to her room. She slammed the door behind her self and threw her body on the bed. She automatically regretted that once she felt pain rushing through her whole body. She slowly lifted her shirt to see a big ugly bruise on her stomach. She sighed and laid down.

Eunha had ended up staying in that same position until her mother walked into the room.

"I heard that you were in the hospital."
Her mother noticed the bruises on her daughters body but said nothing. Eunhas mother just set a bowl of soup and some rice on her daughters desk and left.

Eunha stayed there never knowing this is what her life would be like.

The only thing she was thinking about was Taehyung. Tears formed in her eyes remembering how Taehyung looked when he was entering the class that day. She wanted to punch a wall and cry her eyes out at the same time but instead she made a promise to herself.

He can't hurt me if I ignore him

So Eunha planned on asking the teacher if she could have a different study buddy. Eunha and Taehyung hadn't studied in a while anyway.

At Taehyungs house he was currently busy making out with Joy on his bed.

Joy was currently a good distraction for Taehyung. He was trying not to get worried about Eunha. He knew she was in the hospital. He didn't want to get overly worried so he thought Joy was a good distraction.

He was very wrong.
