Rachel's POV
I walked into the front door and was shocked. I thought the outside was pretty the inside was jaw dropping! I was soon pulled out of my thoughts when hunter walked up.
"You like it?"
"I freaking love this place! Do y'all like shit money or something!?" I asked.
He laughed not like his sexy little chuckle thing from the diner, no like a full out rolling on the floor laugh. I tilted my head to the side with confusion. He immediately stopped and looked at me. His eyes held so much love and adoration.
We just stood there in the doorway looking at each other. He took a step forward, then another and another until he was just inches away. I could feel his breath on my face. he moved a loose hair out of my face and stroked my cheek. He was leaning in and so was I. Our noses where touching just as we were about to kiss someone walked up.
🔥Hunters POV🔥
I was laughing so hard. I looked up at Rachel and damn she looked so cute with her head tilted like that! I stopped laughing and just looked at her right in the eyes. I took a step closer than another and another. I was inches away. I moved my hand to get hair out of her face and stroked her cheek. Our noses touched and right before I was about to close the gap someone walked in.
"Alpha."
"What do you want?" I growled out. I regretted it after I turned around and saw my little brother Chase.
"Dinner is ready we are just waiting for you." He said in a small voice. He had a look of hurt in his eyes that I caused. God why I was I so stupid.
"I'm sorry Chase you may go eat, I will come later if I'm hungry." I replied. He turned and was about to leave, when I stopped him.
"Wait Chase."
"Yes alpha?" He said.
"1. I told you don't call me alpha, we're family it's not right! 2. This is my mate Rachel, Rachel this is my brother Chase." I said, introducing two people that mean a lot to me. They looked at each other and shook hands.
"Hey." He said with an awkward wave.
"Hi." Was her reply as she smiled and gave him a head nod. With that he left.
