he curled his fingers around the cold metal railing as he watched the sparkling lights and they watched him back. the little sparkles and shimmers of the water reflected onto his cheeks and the cool moonlight seems to soak his hair with a beautiful silver.
i watched his chest rise and fall very softly under the layers of his jumper and shirt that hugged his chest, he let a smile little smile leave his lips and i swear i felt my heart start to pound in this moment. he looked so beautiful he was like a angel of the night, my starboy standing across from me on this iridescent night.
'the city looks.. so stunning' he whispered loud enough for his words to ring in my ears.
'so do you' i replied softly with the warmest little smile lingering on my lips. mostly due to the way he made me feel so in love that i couldn't help it.
his response was to flutter those beautiful black eyelashes over his glossy eyes and bow his head in flattery. it was so sweet, to watch him try his hardest not to absorb my kind words when he knows he shouldn't be letting me saying these things.
it's hard not to just wanna kiss him right then and there, not to mention the way his lips looked so pretty and purple under the moonlight. however i didn't let my heart get the better of me.
i gently took his arm at any opportunity to touch him and whispered that we should carry on walking. he was always so warm, his arm muscular and comforting but there was no time to think about those things.
that night he had invited me to his apartment, he had said his roommate might be there or something he was vague and a little cagey. but i took him by the arm and let the cool breeze touch my face as he stuffed his pretty hands into his jacket pockets.

he laughed at his stupid jokes as he undid the lock to his apartment. the corridor was empty and flooded with bright light. as he let us in i saw the soft night time light beaming in through the windows it was seemingly quite beautiful to me the way the city light of la just rested on the walls on his sleek flat. but nothing seemed to matter when he was right there standing next to me his delicate fingers tracing his hair pushing it back as it softly fell across his face.
'jackson?? are you there?' he said into the emptiness of the room.
'yah!' a similar voice replied from another room.
