I have flown to Tiberia to find the twins; Rynn and Hope Thawn along with their mother, they are gathered at a monument dedicated to him. I start with Zoya on the chapter of the closing Sonata.

Yes we were assigned to X45 that day. It took about three hours, after that well. We got a report that the bulk of the Jen'Madte fleet was headed our way. The entire fleet was prepared but at the last minute Tiberius ordered the main fleet to disengage. Leaving only us. As the fleet approached the comms picked up a signal. Tiberius opened it up. A rather large and muscly man with a jutting square jaw and graying hair greeted us. He only said...

"We are many, and you are one. What is one drop of rain compared to the storm. What is one thought compared to a mind. We are truly free in our collective, freedoms that your tiny individualisms cannot comprehend. When we destroy you and the other tiny ones, we shall erase you from our collective memory."

I even saw Tiberius shudder at that. The comm line broke and Tiberius ordered "FIRE SYNCHRO CANNON!!!" A tremendous blue flash lit up the blackness of space. The ship rocked violently. When it made contact with the enemy fleet. Another Red and Orange flash as ships blew apart from the sheer gravitonic weight of the blast. The ships in the beam simply vaporized. When the light show ceased there was enough matter in the area to hear the massive "KRAK!!!!" of the explosions the ship rocked and pitched again. The comms opened again...

"HAHAHAHAAHAHA puny mortal, for every one ship you destroy 10 shall take it's place. For every warrior you kill 100 shall deal the killing blows to you."

"OH yeah well how 'bout this"

He pushed a button. The comm opened up again "Alright general fire the neutron S missile I have a plan.", "Crew fire all missiles". Ensign Bernard hit the touchpad. Uncounted numbers of missiles arched through space as the Jen'Madte fleet launched it's fighter complement. Thousands of small explosions lit up the area. Sadly; for us there were still plenty of fighters. In a few moments they were bombarding our shields. "Open up all close range hull defense guns. Launch all fighters!" Every few moments the ship rocked as one of the shields took a hit.

"What did I tell you tiny one, nothing can stop the might of the Jen'Madte. HAHAHHAHAHAHAAH!"

Almost all the Jen'Madte fighters were down when the main fleet fired bombardment cannons. The shields went down and the engineering deck hailed us, "Sir the antimatter containment fields are down. We only have thirty minutes to get off this crate before she blows." Tiberius carefully reviewed his options before shouting "All crew abandon ship, I repeat all crew abandon ship."

As I was about to leave I noticed that Tiberius refused to move. "Aren't you going."

"No Zoya, you get the kids. Part of the plan requires that someone is still on the boat, you know that a captain should go down with their ship."

I stared at him in amazement, how could anyone say that. Of course I followed orders, I was on the boat, and kicked off. I then found out what the plan was, the Redemption was moving towards the main hive ship. Then the missile showed up heading towards the same target, Tiberius going to create a singularity. I heard over the comms.

"What are you doing mortal, I did not forsee this. STOP!!!!!"

"HAHAHAHAHAHA, Jen'Madte underestimated us didn't they?"

All three objects made contact. I was nearly blinded by the flash of light and when I could see, the Redemption, the hive ship, the missile, and in fact the entire Jen'Madte fleet was nowhere to be seen. We were picked up by the fleet 15 minutes later. I saw only sad face, crying or at least a grim face.

"He was a true hero all the way."

"Yeah, he died just to save us, I say we honor his name."

"How?"

"From this point forward, X-45 shall be called Tiberia"

We built our lives there. Within the year we had a bustling hive world, the main naval building yards in the area. After 13 months I now a Grand Admiral lead the expeditionary force to destroy the Jen'Madte home world.

Zoyas story is very thought provoking I decide to speak to the twins next.

Hope: We were only 8 when it happened. Father was an inspiration to us. I learned much from him back when we were younger. He was caring and nice, and a great teacher. My memories are fuzzy as I was only 8 at the time but I remember that father gave me the will to become a doctor and save the lives of at least 100 thousand soldiers.

Rynn: She's right as always so I can't add much, of course I chose the path of the warrior and fought several other races. Hell by nine I was put in a fighter without academy training because they were short manpower during the Jen'Madte war.

After Thawn's death the conflict sort of spiral out of Jen'Madte victory as the main fleet was destroyed. The homeworld was discovered and destroyed ending the war. In 2700 Terra was put back together, immediately after a coup de tat brought down the old regime and allowed a new commune of peace to grow. I was Zoya's second husband in 3501.

I never had a chance to find out who Tiberius Thawn really was. However, whenever my interviews used to talk about him they always had a slight smile on their faces, that perhaps may be my answer...
