Rin's pov

All I wanted was some peace and quiet and I couldn't even get that. To make matters worst I haven't seen Sakurai since first period. My shoulders slumped as I moved to exit the roof.

" How rude, that guy had some nerve."

My cheeks puffed in annoyance, I hadn't eaten yet and I'm pretty sure lunch is almost over. "Damn." I said loudly as I walked down the halls that were populated with students talking and laughing with each other. I stopped for a second watching as everyone conversed happily among themselves. My gaze lowered to the ground as I tried to rush pass.

General Pov

Rin continued to rush through the hall not paying attention to where she was going. A small gasp escaped her mouth when her body collided with another. Falling forward she landed on a firm muscled body.  Whoever it was had wrapped their arms around her at the last minute, taking the brunt of the fall. The person below her let out a grunt of pain still holding her securely in their arms.

"Are you alright?!!" she yelled panicked now seeing the male figure under her. The boy released her slowly as she raised slightly. Her legs were planted on either side of his hips, arms at the sides of his head. He looked up sheepishly with a grin rubbing his head as he opened his eyes slowly.

Brown eyes met yellow ones as they both stared at the other in slight shock. "S-Sakurai-kun....." she said softly continuing to stare at him. Both teens were frozen with a visible flush on their cheeks. She could still feel the faint touch of his arms that had previously been wrapped around her body. "What's wrong with me......I barely know him yet I-" The sound of the bell ringing startled both of them. Looking up Rin had just realized that students had been gathering around watching them. She bit her lip standing quickly. "Scram." She muttered turning in their direction.

The group of students behind them flinched as they scampered away in fear of her gaze.

Sakurai shook his head jumping to his feet as he began to bow quickly. "I-I'm sorry! I-It's my fault really!!!" he insisted as he continued to apologize. Rin sweat dropped at the display.

"It's alright Sakurai-kun, we should probably get to class." He nodded as she looked him over.

" Are you sure your alright?" She inquired. He blinked pointing to himself before he laughed.

" T-This is nothing, I'm f-fine." Despite what he was saying Rin could see a small red mark on his elbow. She dug around in her pocket pulling out a small handkerchief moving towards his injured hand she gripped his hand causing him to jump lightly. "W-What are yo-"

"Don't move." she said softly with focused eyes. Sakurai stared at the red haired girl as she wrapped the cloth around his elbow gently. He studied her closely not moving an inch.  When she had finished she look back at him with a small smile. " That's the best I can do right now, sorry."

Rin grinned widely as he just continued to stare.

Sakurai looked down at the cute light blue handkerchief with a small blush. "Taka-chan...."

"A-Arigatou!!" he said bowing once again. "Y-You really don't have to thank me." She turned away from him so he wouldn't see her blush. "We should get to class." She stated.

He flinched as if now realizing. " R-Right!" running off in front he grabbed her hand lightly pulling her along with him to class. Rin looked down at their joined hands in awe. She honestly couldn't recall the last time someone had touched her much less held her hand.

"It feels nice...."
