Seriously, his eyes were the last pair of eyes i had expected to see hurt in. I felt a little bad but then when i reminded myself about what he had done to me, all the sympathy for him vanished. The class ended soon without any more disturbances from his side. I was happy about it, perhaps he also had realised that trying to get me back in his life or trying to come back in my life once more was a foolish thing to do. As i was lifting my bag and heading for the door where Alice was waiting for me, our bio teacher called out my name.

" Ms. Black may i have a word with you?"

Oh shoot. I hadn't done anything wrong, I had submitted all my school work and had completed all the assignments, so what could it be?.

" Yes sir?" I asked him cautiously.

"Don't worry Ms. Black you haven't got into any trouble. I called you hear to ask you for a favour." He said. Do teachers ask for favours? i asked myself.

"Ehh.. yes sure sir" I gingerly replied.

"Well i need you to tutor one of your classmates. He seems to be doing extremely pathetic in biology now-a-days and i am afraid that if his marks drop any further, i'll be forced to fail him in this subject." He sighed.

"Sooo you want me to tutor my classmate?" I asked him just making sure that he wanted ME to tutor one of my CLASSMATES.

"Yes Scarlett. I want you to tutor Mr. Rodriguz" He said dropping the bomb casually as if he said stuff like that daily.

Yeah SURE i would tutor JACOB so that he dosen't fail. I so wished that he would fail so that next year i would be in a good college and he would be in this school and i would never have to see his damn face again.

"Sir i am sorry but-" I began but cutting me off he said "Before you decline to this i would want you to know one thing. If you tutor Mr. Rodriguz you will be spared from submitting this years biology project."

Now he was talking. See the thing is every student of this school dreads the final years project work for mainly three resons :

1) It's practically impossible to complete the project within the time period given.

2) It taked up a lot of time which could be used for studying or for having some fun.

3) It's honestly BORING.

Also i have a personal reason too - I.SUCK.AT.DRAWING. There i said it. I absolutely suck at drawing anything. And the complex drawings we had this year were a Herculian task for me.

' This guy sure knows how to make a deal' I thought to myself.

" I'll do it sir. I'll try my level best to tutor him but there's just this one thing." I said a bit nervous. When he gestured for me to go on i gathered some courage and continued "You know how they say that you can make a horse go till the pond but you can't make it drink the water? I am kind of in the same situation. I can teach Jacob but i can't assure you if he will even try to understand what i teach."

" Well Ms. Black that is exact reason why i chose YOU to do this task." He said.

" Uh? I quite didn't get you sir." I replied confused now.

" Well i think you are the only person he will listen to." He said camly and exited the room leaving a shocked and suprised girl(namely me) gawking at the exit.

"What was all that about?" Alice enquired curiously entering the empty room "and why do you look like someone just insulted Harry Potter infront of you?"

" It was about nothing. Sir just told me to tutor one of our classmates because he basically sucks at biology and i think that our teacher cannot handle him for another year if he fails." I said.

" Oh well, who is he?" Alice asked.

" It is J-" I was going to say Jacob when we were interupted by the devil himself.

" So bio sir said i gotta take classes from you. And he said to begin them from today." Weird he had never said anything like that to me. "Sooo your place or mine?" He asked casually. Why was he being so normal??!!. I was frustated at his behaviour, but i didn't want him to see that.

" Mine. Sharp at 7. Hope you know the way otherwise i can give you the address-" i managed to say before he cut me off.

" How can i ever forget that place?. I'll be there. Bye." He said and left Alice and me alone.

" Scarlett. DID.YOU.JUST.AGREE.TO.TUTOR.JACOB.?." Alice whispered angrily.

" Yes but hear the whole thing out. Sir is giving me a slip on the project if i tutor him. It was hard to resist that deal." I tried to make her understand.

" But i swear if that asshole tries to do anything to you i swear i'm gona cut his THING off and roast it and make him gulp it down." Alice fumed. She could be the devil's incarnation when she wanted to be.

"Uh ok. I'll tell him that." I told her a little frightened myself.

" Scarlett just one thing... Daniel is gonna be ok with this?" Alice asked me regaining her calm.

Oh shit. I had forgotten all about my elder brother and Jacob's equation. I would have to use my puppy dog eyes on my brother today.

" Lets hope Jacob leaves my place alive today." I sighed and headed to my next class.
