I blush at the compliment then think "Sure," I say excited. "now can you leave so I can get ready?" "Why, you could just do it in front of me, i'm kidding." "Hahahaha, be down in a hour or so." I say pushing him out of the door and shuting it without his response.The next morning I woke up with something jump on me hard. I am sleeping in a weird position i'm holding something that is warm and my legs are wrapped in something. OH CRAP I AM ASLEEP WITH JOEL! It hit me like a blow dart in the temple what the flipl jumped on me and what is skreching? I decide to open my eyes and see, I regret doing that. My sister is on my stomach and Joel sister skreching standing at the door. Kill me now, I look a Joel and he looks like a cat thrown into clod water.
How the flip am I going to explain this. When I look back at my sister she is laughing like a loon; dumb-grasshole. There is only one thing left to do, act nothing of it so I lean back into Joels chest and lay down. But in the process I throw a pillow at Leslie then tell her to "Go away, I am tired." she looks like I have just told her Santa Claus is gay. "I will leave but what the freak are you two doing in one bed and snuggling?" This is the part I turn to see Joels face, he looks like he is starting to relax but that question scared the crap out of him. "He was woke up by the branch that kept hitting my window so he came and broke it and ask if we could talk so we did and we must of fell asleep." and it is the truth. "Sure" is all she says while walking out.
"Don't worry I won't tell anyone about last night it you don't, also can I have an amazing kiss?" I say with a big grin not waiting for an anwser, I lean in and he meets me half way. His smells like chocolate and cherries, yummy. He kiss me soft when we pulled back he says "Good morning to you to." that causes me to laugh."You have a nice laugh I do you want to go to the movies with me Kale and the others? It would be a good chance to get to know the guys and there girlfriends." he says and
I get in the shower and when I get out I screamed someone has been in my bathroom and it says Details Later I know who it is; Leslie she isn't worthy to know and I will not tell her either. So I will tell her exactly what I told her this morning. I get my black skirt and teal tank top I throw that on and head to my bathroom to do my hair and makeup. For my hair I curl it and braid a peice. For my make-up it was a smokey eye look and clear lip gloss. The shoes I get my black wedges.
When I make my way down stairs towards the kitchen and I stop when I hear my sister and Joels interigating him. "If you hurt my sister I will kill you." I hear Leslie say, and then his "And I will help." I have to hold back laughing. "Nothing happened I promise we talked and fell asleep." Joel says. "I don't trust you if she is pregnant God I don't know what I will do." my sister says. Its time to step in and stop this.
"Leslie I am a virgin! I didn't sleep with Joel do I need to take a pregnacy test even though I am positive i'm not!" I yell, great she got me so mad that I scream something I didn't want anyone to know. Joel looked like I just told him that the earth was going to explode tomorrow, great. Leslie looked undescribable happy and impressed were a few. "Stop looking at me like that, now come on lets go catch a movie." I said trying to get out of that conversation, but Joel didn't move so I went over to him grabbed the keys off the counter in front of him then pulled him out of the chair to the door. we walked silently to the car.
I don't want to talk about it not really anyway, but he wanted to "Are you really?" "Yea kinda." I anwser his question. He couldnt drop it at that no he asked "Why didn't you tell me? I mean I did tell you I was to, so why?" he seemed upest but I gave my reason. "Maybe because you didnt ask." I was getting kinda mad and upset and I needed him to shut up so I did the only thing I knew what to do; I leaned in an kissed those soft lips of his and gave him a nip on the bottom lip asking for entrance. That is when he pulled back and said "Just friends?" "Yes, now shut up and kiss me." I think I am falling for him. After a few minutes of making out I pulled back and said "Dont we have a movie to get to?" he growlded god did he want me to loss it to him now an ride him? "Not if we can do this instead." "Nope lets go to the movies and remeber no saying anything about this." I say "Agreed, I think I would be murdered by the guys because they wish they could do this with you." I liked the sound of that but just nodded instead but I asked "I am going to be hungry after the movies I know do you think we can go for lunch?" "I guess the guys won't mind."
At the movies we got a seat and waited for the guys. While we were waiting I leaned over to whisper in his to tell him I want his jacket but intenationaly I make my lips brush his earlobes. He took off his jacket and handed it to me an after I put it on I caught his hand and laced mine into his. Until the guys walked in screaming "Hey Devan!" then fight over who gets to sit next to me besides Joel; Kale won. And durring the movie Kale leaned over and said in a low voice "Would you like to go on a date with me? And my god you look beautiful today." I blush but it is dark so he doesn't notice, "I need to get use to here before I make a decision but I will give you an anwser when I have one." "Fair enough." he says back. "Oh an after the movies do you want to grab some lunch with me Joel and anyone else who wants to come?" I say remembering the plans from earlier, "Yea I am pretty hungry myself."
After the movie me, Joel, Toby, Ryan, Kale, James, and Lilly (Which is James girlfriend.), are seated for lunch at Mario's Pizza Palace I am being told how they all met. For some reason Joel is in all of them. Kale, Joel, and Ryan have been friends since diapers. Joel and Lilly met by his ex girlfriend so that is how James and her met. Toby met him through school and after school activities then he was at Leslies party so they hung out and became friends. James is an intresting story though, him and Joel where enmies at the beginning and what I mean is they would get into fist fights everytime they saw each other then got pair together in a project, then they found out they could get along, but the reason they fought was because of the ex-girlfriend that was friends with Lilly. James wanted the ex while Joel had her then they stopped fighting and Joel and James doubled dated thats when him and Lilly met, weird right?
After pizza and long history stories I have Joel drop me off. But he and me pull off to the side to talk. He seems worried, I think. "Do you like Kale? He seems into you, scratch that I know he is into you, are you?" I have a hard time breathing for some odd reason my voice gives out though. When it comes back I say "I am still trying to get over something I learned to deal with but you can NOT ask me questions like that when we are not serious it makes me feel trapped! But I have no idea what I think of you or anyone else for this matter!" I snap it makes me feel the same it did before it happened my hands start to shake and all I can think is I haven't had a panic attack in over half a year what the flip. He doesn't say anything but he just turns on the engine and guns it, and stays silent.
When he drops me off I run inside not looking back I go to someone I know can trust; Leslie. "Leslie!" I scream and am heaving for air in my lungs, but none seems to want to go in "Leslie!" I scream again when I hear footsteps; running down the stairs. That is when I drop on the ground an sob, shaking completely. Leslie runs to me and sits in front of me wraps her arms around me and pulls me into a hug, then plays with my hair whispering "Shh its okay, talk when you are ready, I understand cry as long as you need." after her dress is soaked and me finally pull myself together and wait for the panic attack to pass we move from in front of the door to the couch.
Leslie looks concerned, and like she wants to kill Joel "Why did you just have a panic attack,if it is about Joel I will kill him. Want to talk?" she said with a look that says: say-it-and-he-is-gone look. "I don't to talk about it really so I will just tell that Kale likes me and Joel does to, Joel got mad or something and was saying stuff like I know Kale likes you do you though and I like you alot not just because of your looks. It was like we were already in a relationship which I told him I wanted to wait on I needed to get use to all this maybe later. But it just sent me into a panic attack again an you will not kill Joel I will handle it." I stood up and started to walk away when I forgot something, "Oh and Leslie you didn't mind Joel waking up in my bed do you because I just got sweeped into the moment and fell asleep nothing happened TRUST ME." I say and leave before she can add a coment.
