The Party Full of Wonderful Glory

(*NOTE* The time setting in this short story is before the incident with the Female Titan....pretty much before everything went to shit!!!)

"How's the party? Has it met your expectations with all it's wonderful....Glory?"

The young man-Eren turned on his heel only to see a beautiful woman with her gaze fixated on him. She stood there staring at him with a devious smirk. The woman's appearance was quite intimidating with her short, black curls plastered in place on her head, along with her long black dress that hung on her shoulders and flared out towards her knees with a slit at the end exposing her thigh. Eren caught his gaze with hers and was immediately intrigued by the fact that this woman had a shade of dark red eyes. He was at loss for words but that was almost always the case with Eren when confronted by women.

He gulped.

"I didn't come with any expectations. I've never been to a place like this before so I'm not sure if I should be impressed or not....should I?" Eren edged on the conversation.

She chuckled while walking towards him. "Of course if you're into that new golden age shit. I mean it's completely fine at first but after awhile it becomes oh-so tacky and doesn't smell right. You'll have to forgive my father, we don't get that many....visitors these days."

Eren's eyes widened. "Your father is Rayflo Disraeli?!" Of course, how could he not of put the pieces together? She was the one of the most beautiful women here tonight, she was the spitting image of a spoiled rich girl especially the way she moved and held her head, this girl actually knew she belonged here.

She gave the boy a light smile before meer seconds later snatching the bottle of Sake that Eren had in his hands. "I'm gonna need this." she said winking. The woman gulped down a few shots of Sake all in one sip. Eren stood there awkwardly and just watched her. She disconnected the bottle from her mouth with a breath. Then the girl turned to Eren once again with a large grin on her face. "I'm Mary-Adele Disraeli and you are Eren Jaeger"....

Eren stiffened as Mary mentioned his name. Her eyes bored in his as she smiled like she could see right through him, every single detail and started to chuckle at it like it was some kind of joke. She knew who he was....what he was....

"You've heard of me?" Eren said more like a realization.

She took a step closer. "Indeed! Your part of Lance Corporal Rivaille's team from the Survey Corps. Since my father is already busy hosting the party, i=t's my job to know everyone here tonight, well at least their names....temporally. Everyone from the highest ranking position in the Military Police to the Stationary Troops has showed up here. Your not invisible Eren, especially with that look on your face".

'Look? What look? I don't have a look!' Eren thought with a red face.

Mary looked around herself cautiously, then abruptly took ahold of Eren's hand intertwining her fingers with his as she quickly pulled him up the staircase leaving the party.

Eren gasped as he was pulled quite forcibly by the woman he had just met. 'Where the hell is she taking me' 'God damn her grip is tight' he thought in confusion. He heard the girl softly giggle as she looked back at him. Eren tripped over some steps but still continued to follow her.

"Uhh....Wh-Where are you taking me? Levi-I mean Corporal has strict orders to keep me und-" Eren tried explaining but was cut off.

"I'm not kidnapping you Eren, I promise! Follow me and you'll eventually find out. Plus it's fun hanging out with me, or so I've been told." The girl finished.

Eren gave in and obliged with Mary's plan of suspension as they continued at the top of the staircase.

She lead him down a series of hallways in jumbled left and right turns reminding him of a maze. Eren couldn't fathom living in a place like this, he'd get lost at every corner but this girl weaved through them like it was nothing.
