Max and Elle came rushing down the stairs and quickly took they're seats at the table.
-Finally.
Ryker, Elle's younger brother exclaimed as the girls sat down.
-Mom wouldn't let me eat until you guys got here.
-Oh stop being a baby, you're 13, Shut up.
Elle replied.
-You shut up, it's the first day of school and because of your stupid inability to wake up I'm gonna be late.

-My stupid inability to wake up, Max now spoke.
-I'm the one who woke up late, Sorry Ryker.
Max told him with a sweet apologetic smile.
The boy simply huffed and jerked his head around to avoid the girls.

Max liked Ryker, Yes he was arrogant and sarcastic, but just like someone else she once knew, he had a big heart. Heck, if he wasn't 3 years younger then her she might have even had a crush on him.

-Welp, I'm never eating anything ever again.
Elle said as she finished her second plate of breakfast food. Max didn't get how Elle didn't weigh a thousand pounds. She ate so much yet her figure never changed.
-Well I've just been waiting for you.
Max said.
-Ok, let's go then.
-RYKER, YOU WANT A RIDE? The girl shouted to the one in front of her.
-IM RIGHT HERE, Ryker annoyingly replied with.
-And Nope, the boy said as he took one last spoonful of his unfinished cereal.
-I'm taking my bike, he finished.
-Weren't you just complaining about being late?
-Better then being seen taken to school by my sister.
He said tightening his shoe laces.
-You little shit head.
-Lots of love for you too sis, bye Max.
He said as he abruptly shut the door behind him.
-Ughh his so annoying. The older fare child complained.
-Come on let's go.
Max said as she bolted off her chair.
And just like that the two girls went on with their day.
