After a seemingly endless walk in to the forest Castiel finally spoke"Dean, what are we doing here?" Castiel says looking at Dean who had been smiling for the past 10 minutes. "This is the middle of nowhere. Dean I am human now and I need to rest."
Dean stopped smiling. "What way is home?"
Castiel seemed confused. "I don't know, Dean. Are we lost?"
Dean smirked "No Cas, I am not lost. I know my way back." Dean leaned closer and whispered "You are lost." Castiel looked around. Dean was right he had no clue where he was. Castiel looked at Dean slightly ashamed.
"I don't... I know Dean. I... I am Useless." Castiel let out a sniffle. The sad Castiel remained Dean of Sam when he would get hurt. Dean got closer as if to hug the big sad angel then pulled back quickly.
"You aren't useless, Cas." Dean said reassuringly. Castiels stomach made a horrific noise. "Holly hell what was that?" Dean joked
Castiel rolled his eyes "you have been human much longer then me, it is hunger. I need food Dean. Did you bring food." Dean raised an eye brow at the snippy way Castiel had just spoken to him.
"Cas, maybe when I said, this is going to be a long trip, you should have brought yourself some food." Dean snapped back.
"I was not hungry then Dean." Castiel stepped closer to Dean. " I am not use to being human there is a lot I don't understand and I would appreciate it if you would tell me why we are here." by the end of Castiels rant he was nearly screaming.
Dean stepped forward and pulled something out of his bag. "here. When I saw you didn't bring anything I made you a sandwich. " Dean pushed the plastic bag I'm to Castiels hand. PB&J.
Castiel looked at Dean slightly ashamed "Thank you, and I... I am sorry for yelling." Castiel unwrapped the sandwich.
Dean felt bad but he wouldn't admit it. "That's fine. just eat your food."
Dean saw the confusion and hurt on Castiels face that he didn't apologies as well "Fine, I am sorry but that's not important right now."
Castiel huffed and bit in to the sandwich as Dean pulled a gun out of the bag he had set near a stump. "we need to work on your aim."
Talking with a mouth full of peanut butter castile protested, "I am fine at aiming."
Dean smiled at the murky words coming out of Castiels mouth. "Really, because I don't think you can." Castiel roughly swallowed the remainder of his sandwich. Dean turned away from Castiel to play with the other guns he had brought.
"What is that supposed to mean." Castiel rubbed his tongue around in his mouth to clear off the peanut butter.
Dean turned around and with the sass of thousand moose "You can't get your piss in the toilet, So I don't think you can aim a gun."
Castiel made some head bobs in agreement. "I am not used to urinating yet. Plus, it is a very weird appendage."
Dean waved his hands in front of his face. "I am good. Just get over here."Dean motioned for Castiel to come over and get a gun.
"Dean, I will prove it to you." Castiel picked up the gun and held it out.
"Easy there tiger" Dean said "You need a target first" after scanning the trees everywhere he grabbed a can of red spray paint out of his bag and marked a tree. "You need to hit the tree and then we can go home."
Castiel snuffed with confidence. "Good." with a smile " As soon as I hit the tree we leave?" holding the gun with only one hand Castiel pulled the trigger. Bang. Pop. "Ouch." Castiel yelled dropp8ng the gun and grasping his wrist.
After he was done snickering. "You heard it wrong." Dean still choking back his giggles. Castiel looked at the gun in anger "Here."
Dean grabs the gun from the ground.
Castiel still grasping his wrist "I use to do it like that."
"Well, Cas, you no longer have that mojohowdo angels stuff." Dean said examining the gun. Dean looked up. " Is your wrist OK?"
Castiel nodded, but still looked upon the gun with anger.
"Well, come here." Dean instructed. Castiel walked toward Dean. "Turn" Castiel turned his back to Dean. Dean grabbed Castiel pulling him back until Castiel back was pressed against Deans chest. Castiel let out a confused but not rejecting sigh.
"Dean, What does this have to do with shooting?" Castiel said with a nervous shudder in his breath. Dean took Castiels left hand and placed the gun in it raising it up to shoulder height.
Deans breath remained confident and spoke in a whisper. "teaching you how to hold a gun with one hand and how to aim." Castiels breath still shaking with nervousness from the gun, and from the man who held him tight.
"Alright Dean." Castiel managed to speak without stuttering. Castiel could feel Deans breath on his neck. With Castiels hand under Deans, he held tight to the gun trying not to shake his finger sitting on the trigger.
Castiel couldn't help but think hiding his feelings and emotions had gotten much harder as a human. "This is very close Dean. Should we be this close. you always did tell me about personal space."
Castiel heard a scuffle LuckyDean and felt Deans hand settle on his lower stomach. "Well, you never seemed to mind being inches from me before."
Dean pulled in harder and slid down a bit, letting a few fingers enter Castiels pants. "Dean, this is distracting."
"You need to learn to shoot with distractions." Dean slid is hand down just a bit more touching the elastic of castiels boxers.
Castiel felt the warmth of Deans hand and the pull on his jeans. " What are you doing Dean?" Castiels voice a unsure mess of excitement.
"helping you shoot." without skipping a beat Dean kissed the back of Castiels neck. Castiels whole body teased up. Bang. Crack.
Dean Pulled off of Castiel. "Look you hit the tree. Time to go." Dean was all ready packing the guns away. Castiel stood not moving his body trying to understand it self. "Cas?" Dean spoke again.
"I don't understand." Castiel turned on his heels facing Dean. centimeters from the only slightly taller man. "What? just. can we do that more."
Dean smiled and stepped back. "Maybe." Dean turned to walk toward what Castiel assumed was home. He smiled still feeling warm. Dean called back. "And Cas. Looks like hitting the tree is not the only wood you got." Castiel suddenly got red .
"I understood that reference." Castiel whispered.
Dean stopped and was waiting on Castiel. "I'll show you how to fix that when we get back. That is if you can lead us home."
Castiel understood what Dean was doing physical attention was a good reward system, and Dean knew that. Dean went on walking, Castiel knew it couldn't be that easy. "This way." Castiel waddled in the opposite direction of Dean.
Dean smirked and spoke under his breath "looks like he might actually know his way home. Lucky for me."
