Tom's P.O.V

After we were done eating, I cleaned the mess Edd had made cooking. May I mind you that Edd is extremely messy when he does something that requires some sort of mess. I can't begin to explain how much paint I had have to clean off walls because he pays no attention to what mess he's making. And if he does realize, the asshole is just to lazy to clean it up.

I scrubbed at the bowls as Edd scavenges the pantries for cola, "Tom, do you seriously not have any drink except water here?"

Sighing I rinsed off the bowls with water, "No Edd, I don't have anything refrigerated here. I see no point in buying refrigerated food if i'm rarely here. And there is no way in hell I'm going to pay for all that gas to keep the generator going. If I wanted to live here that bad I would've bought the house. But that means going through all this government shit I don't want to do."

Edd smirked, "So you do want to live here?"

Rolling my nonexistent eyes I answered, "Yeah I do. It's a very nice house. But I would rather not live alone. And if I live here with you and Matt, You two will do something irrational that would cause some destruction to the house. To be completely honest, I want to live here with someone I truly love. A place to call home with my spouse." I scoffed at the thought, "Like that'll ever happen though. I'm probably never going to get married. Let alone date someone who actually likes me."

I didn't see Edd give me a look of pity, but I knew he was staring at me. Not being able to think of anything to say, Edd just didn't answer at all. The air grew tense and the silents was awkward. Edd pulled his phone out, "We...uh...we should get to sleep. It's pretty late...i'll take the couch."

Nodding, I moved to walk upstairs to the room before Edd stopped me, "Hey Tom...can I have my hoodie back?"

My face grew warm. I'm completely naked under the hoodie. Edd notice this, "You fucking serious?"

"U-Uh...." I fiddled with the too long sleeves.

"Just go. I don't need it anyways." He said, laying on the couch.

I fled upstairs in embarrassment and jumped onto the old bed. Curling up under the worn out blanket, I yawned. I didn't realize how tired I was until I actually fell asleep.

The next morning I woke up, Hugging a pillow in a choke-hold. Yawning, I looked out the cracked window to see the sun barely rising over the horizon, "Sky appreciation..." I mummbled to my self and rummaged around for my phone. Seeing it on the floor I groaned. Rolling off the bed I grabbed my phone and trudged my way to the window. Catching a few pictures I grabbed my clothes and pulled off Edd's hoodie, Leaving me naked. I yanked on my boxers and slipped on my black jeans, grey shirt and navy blue hoodie. Making my way downstairs to make some coffee, I tried rubbing the sleep from my eyes.

Passing the living room, I dropped Edd's hoodie over his face to muffle his loud snores. Smiling at the no longer obnoxious noise, I entered the kitchen. Filling the Kettle with water I placed it on the gas stove to boil. Going through one of the pantries in the Kitchen, I found the instant coffee mix and powdered creamer. Sitting at the small table, I loaded up Candy Crush on my phone to pass the time while I waited for the water to finish boiling.

20 levels, 3 challenges, 1 life left, and an intense need to throw my phone at a brick wall, I heard the high pitch whistle of the kettle. Getting up I turned the stove's gas off. Getting two mugs out, I filled them with the creamer, coffee powder and sugar. Pouring the boiling water into the cups, the smell of coffee instantly filled the air.

I hummed with a small smile, "3...2...1...now"

At that moment Edd sleepily made his way into the kitchen, pulling on his hoodie. "I smell coffee...." He yawned.
