I stare at the tall trees, the green grass, the vibrant flowers and find beauty.
I think of the world, the cosmos, how every star in the sky was once part of something more, and feel enlightened.
I hear the chirp of a bird, the howl of a coyote, the hiss of a cat and know they are better without human knowledge.
I frown at the destructive force human existence creates and wonder at why we take so much.
Yet when the succulent taste of a strawberry grazes the tip of my tongue, I can't help but devour it to sustain my existence.
