The police arrived and they headed to the front of the house. Jungkook hugged himself with worry. A tall, middle-aged man answered the door.

"What seems to be the problem?" He asked innocently, but Jungkook saw the smirk he was hiding. "There was a report of domestic violence in your household."

The man acted surprised. "Really? Why, I don't have any recollection of anything happening. I'm just a calm man living alone in this nice house."

Kook clenched his fists as he knew the man was lying. "Well, shall we at least search your house?" The man hesitated but agreed.

Kook and his mom followed behind the two officers as they walked through the home. Before they opened a door on the second door, the man stopped them.

"That is my spiritual room. It is against the rules of the teachings to enter that room unless you're me." The officers seemed confused but shrugged it off.

There was a quiet sniffle. "Then what was that?" One officer asked. "Oh, I have a small cold. I've been so stuffed up." The man fake sniffled.

The officers nodded. "Well, it seems the reports were just a misunderstanding. We apologize for interrupting your evening. Have a good night." They said as they left.

Jungkook's mon walked back to the house, and once she was out of sight, the man grabbed Jungkook by the collar of his shirt and brought him close.

"Stop talking to my son. Or I'll hurt both of you." Kook nodded and ran back to the house. He rushed to his room to see if Jimin was there. The blinds were closed.

Later that night, Jungkook was on a call with Namjoon. "I think that man is lying. I really want to find and save Jimin, but I don't know how."

"Well, give it some time. If you continuously hear it, report it again and they'll have to check that room. He'll be okay, just don't worry."

Jungkook agreed and said goodnight before ending the call. "Jungkook, get to bed! Your first day of school is tomorrow!" Kook's mom yelled.

He sighed and changed into his pajamas, then lying in his bed and staring at the ceiling. Suddenly, his phone received a notification.

Jungkook checked it and saw it was a text from Jimin.

Jimin: please don't call the police it makes my dad mad
Jungkook: are you okay??? what happened?
Jimin: nothing I'm okay I promise
Jungkook: are you sure? I heard him yelling and got scared
Jimin: yes everything's fine we'r

Jungkook was confused at the sudden stop.

Jungkook: hello? You there?
Jimin: Hello, this is Jimin's dad. Stop talking to him and leave him alone, he is a busy boy and doesn't need you.
Jungkook: What the hell?? What'd you do with Jimin!!

And from there, there was no reply. Jungkook tried to get some sleep, and thought it was difficult, he finally fell asleep and snored quietly throughout the night.

time skip.

Jungkook sprang awake from the sound of the alarm. "Jungkook! Taehyung! Time for school! Get up and get dressed then come down for breakfast!"

Kook shuffled out of bed and changed into his laid-out clothes. He combed his hair then walked downstairs. His mom slid a bowl of cereal to him on the table.

Kook sat and ate quietly. "Where's Yoongi?" Tae asked as he walked down the stairs. "He slept over at his new friend's house. He's meeting you at school."

Taehyung nodded and grabbed a banana. Once they finished eating, they took the bus to school. Jungkook immediately noticed Namjoon sitting alone.

He sat happily next to him. "Hi Namjoon! Are you excited for school?" He asked happily. "Oh, yeah. I'm thrilled." Namjoon said quietly and smiled weakly.

Jungkook glanced around the bus to discover that just about everyone seemed to have problems ranging from shyness to even cancer.

"What's with everyone having a problem they're carrying with them?" Kook asked curiously. "People tend to bring those kinds of kids here cause it's quiet and nice."

Jungkook nodded and leaned back in his seat. He saw Taehyung sitting alone in the seat in front of him, but he was occupied by staring out the window.
