the pale light of the moon caressing his beautiful features, highlighting every shadow

the light spreading across his tanned skin, glittering in his soft brown eyes

he turned to face the other boy, sitting on the edge of his bed

with his face now half lit, he spoke out with a low voice, filled with affection

"never leave me again" he murmured

the other boy stood and bridged the gap between them with a soft hug

"no matter where i go, your mark on me is forever written in my heart, never to be forgotten, my star" the other boy whispered softly

the star boy softened at his moon's touch and returned his hug

"i'm glad i'm the star" he chuckled

"why is that?"

"i get to gaze at and play with my moon, day in and day out"

the light of the moon grew a little bit stronger as his moon smiled and gently planted a kiss on his star's beautiful, pouty lips
