DOYOUNG'S POV
I waited for like hours yesterday in the library but Jungwoo didn't come. After his soccer match the other day, I haven't seen him. Actually, today are their exams but I doubt that he will ever pass. He's neglecting his academic duties again. I'm really disappointed.
I was walking in the hallway, on my way to the restroom when I bumped into Ms. Jo.
"Oh! Doyoung! Glad I saw you! Thank you for your hardwork on Jungwoo huh?" she said even grabbing my hand.
"I-it's okay Ms. Jo. But actually, I don't think I helped him even a bit."
"As you know, that kid really love soccer. If only he is a graduate now, I could support him in being a soccer professional but because he's still young, he needs to do well in academics first. It's just sad that he would need to transfer schools." she said which made me shock.
"Transfer schools?"
"Didn't he inform you? This was his only chance of staying here in school or else he would be sent to another school wherein Soccer isn't really played. But then, as he was being serious in his studies, someone told him about a match that wasn't really happening. His parents found out about it and well... decided on transferring him."
A match that wasn't really going to happen? Did someone tricked him? It's his fault but why is it that I still feel apologetic to him? He isn't under my care or something. I don't havve any responsibilities for him but...
"Could you tell me their current address?"
"But Doyoung it is a little confi-"
"Please?.. He may be lacking in determination to study but what if it could still be fixed?" I said trying to convince her. Ms. Jo looks like she was thinking about whether to agree or not but a seconds later...
"You're right. Here..." she said as she wrote something on a piece of paper then tore it apart and gave me. "I somewhat know the village they're in." she added and as soon as I bid my goodbye, I hurriedly left the campus and rode on a taxi.
I still have two classes left but I don't think it would affect my grades too much so I would just skip classes.
I gave the taxi driver the address Ms. Jo gave me. It took us about 30 minutes to got there. We asked the guard in the village for Jungwoo's house. Before answering, he called someone whom I thing is Jungwoo's residence. After the call, he told us about the exact address of their house and the taxi took me there.
After I arrived, I payed my transportation expense and went out of the taxi. I rang the doorbell and a maid let me in up to their living room.
Jungwoo's POV
"Did you plan on talking me out?" Dad asked. We are currently in the living room when someone called through our telephone and said that he was my friend from school. Dad didn't mentioned his name.
"I haven't attended class for 2 days Dad. My phone is even confiscated." Yes, you read it right. I regret going to the field someone told me. I was too excited that I didn't notice it was a lie. And right now, I am paying for it. I'll get tranferred to another school. New environment. New faces. HAysss...
