After two excruciatingly long hours had passed, Rome and Kelsey exited the classroom before heading outside. Rome had started rambling how she's been in London almost her entire life and she wanted to see America for herself. Kelsey attentively listened and nodded her head any chance she could to indicate she was listening.

Someone had bumped into her shoulder, which she brushed off, but a person clearing their throat behind the two gained their attention. They turned to see a girl with ginger red hair and emerald green eyes standing with her arms crossed, tapping their foot. Two other girls had crossed their arms as well and had scowls on their faces.

"Well?" She asked expectingly. The two looked at each other and back at the girl. Rome linked their arms together and looked at the girl like she was crazy. "Well what? We were just walking." She stated truthfully, except the girl had released a scoff.

"Is that a joke? She, bumped into my arm." She said pointing at Kelsey. Kelsey looked at the ground with a frown. Rome scoffed and turned the two back around. "We have classes and so do you Hannah, I suggest you get to them." Rome spit back.

Hannah's frustrated scream and a clank on the ground could be heard in the distance. Kelsey smiled despite herself and chuckled. Rome laughed as well and nudged her gently. "She's not too threatening. She only thinks she is since she's dating one of the richest guys here and has money to flaunt."

Kelsey nods in understanding and sighs. "I just want one normal year, is that really so much to ask." She states, causing Rome to release another fit of laughs. "That, is called life my dear. And it can be a real bitch. Let's get to class, we have it with Elijah."

She nods her head and follows Rome into another classroom, with a lower amount of people than before, containing the same guy from the class before, once again smiling at her. Her face was no doubt a blushing mess as she scurried after Rome.

"Hey Rome, what took you so long?" A boy from this, his brown hair tied into a bun showing his crystal blue eyes and a small smile on his face. "I missed you soooo much." He hugged Rome close to him and she tapped his arm in sympathy.

"We ran into Hannah. Wanted Kelsey to apologize for 'bumping' into her." Kelsey made herself comfortable on an outside seat. Elijah looked at her and his eyes flickered with amusement and he chuckled. "So you happen to run into she-devil herself on the first day huh?"

Rome smacked him, making him gently rub his cheek before he looked at the two again. Rome smiles at Kelsey and chuckles. "She won't be a bother. Honest." The teacher then walks in and starts teaching Algebra 2.

Rome mopes out of the class, her face covered in a distraught expression, while Elijah laughs loudly. "I can't believe you burped that loudly, pfthahaha!" He exclaimed while she slowly turned to him and swung her bag at him.

"Dickhead! You don't make fun of a girl when she's embarrassed!" She had gained the stares of multiple people, making Kelsey place a gentle hand on Rome's shoulder.

"We don't need to gain people's attention Rome. Can you please quiet down?" Rome gives one last huff and walks in another direction. Kelsey goes to follow her, but Elijah grabs her arm. "Let her blow off some steam, we'll see her in the courtyard."
