What do you do,
When pain is engraved so deep
That the hollowing grooves
Can't be filled even
By the words as smooth
As silver that so cautiously
Drip from loved ones lips?
Keep pushing until my
Skin seeps scarlet
And the thick velvet flow
Can't be stopped
Even by the band aid apologies
That kiss the open wounds.
Until the disappointment
Picking my eyes is
Coaxed to a brim by
Everything bad that
Wall papers my mind
