Momma tucked me into bed last night while reading me my favorite bedtime story "many to tell" classical but amazing. Momma said that there is bad people out there and i need to be careful. When mamma left i was just sitting in the dark, very impatient for what was gonna happen tomorrow, my best friends birthday party and the diner . She is turning 14 , she has been my friend since we where born ,her momma lived right next to us and over time her and my momma became friends. So back to what i was saying , i was laying in my bed very impatient when I heard the loudest noise in the world , The most horrifying scream came for my neighbors house a loud crash and everything vanished
Way back when
I was born in Alabama but moved her in the fall my daddy found a new job as a carpenter so he gets payed well . Mom says home with me and my brother josh (he is 15 and I'm 14) he treats me like a little kid on some days others he plain out ignores me like I'm nothing apparently that's what brothers do , my momma was in the kitchen making pudding when i was talking to my brother about the war . Sometimes josh can me interesting when he wants to be ,he is a very well known person in are town for his good deeds. I wish i was like him, but little did i know tomorrow my life is gonna change forever.
Life is changing fast
My head is spinning all i can thing about is that noise . I ran to my mommas room to wake her up to tell her what was happening, but little did i know my mother was already is the kitchen screaming like a mad man , she saying we need to hide , we ran to the next door neighbors house my friend Kate then One who just turned 14 , because i am a Jew i have to hide so i Pretended to be her sister for a while i have been here for about 5 days but Tonight was the scariest night at this house
The night
Me and Kate could not sleep so all me did was talk until a guard banged the door down i screamed even though i shouldn't of when one of the guards yelled "everyone out of your rooms with your hands up!" Kate's momma walked out of the room Jittery and scared for her life other than her dad who was very calm , One of the guards asked" do you know the smiths who lived right next door to you " Kate's daddy answered with a ferm look "no" the guard got suspicious and asked " are you hiding one " as if he thought Kate was the jew . Mom said " no and that would please leave my children are trying to sleep " the guard answered with a yes mam and left on his way with a grin, that night was the scariest night
Last night to live
A guard came by today to come take me and Kate and found out i was a Jew who belonged to the smiths . I have only a hour to live while the family of Kate have already died i will miss my home my life my family my friend and my daddy and my momma i love you and will always love you
