Lucy's pov
As I was just about to help lily pick out a outfit for school and my phone rang "I'll be right back princess" I say picking up my phone and walking out of Lily's room
I answer the phone to hear Megan..
Megan: c-can you c-come pick me u-up
Lucy: OMG are you ok?!
Megan: I got into a fight with Daniel
Lucy: ok text me were you are and I'll come pick you up after I take lily to school give me 10 mine
Megan: O-ok
I end the call and lily comes out of her room dressed "are you ready?" I ask "yes mommy" she says taking my hand and we walk out to the car

After I drop lily to school I rush to the address Megan sent me
As I pulled I saw Megan sitting on the side playing with her hair. I got out the car and walked over to her
I bent down to her level and she looked up "I'm sorry" she says sniffing "there's nothing to be sorry about Megan" I say looking confused
"Common let's go to the apartment and you can tell me what happened" I say taking her hand and leasing her to the car.

I let Megan sit on the sofa while I went to get drinks when my phone rings
Lucy: hello?
Jack: hey! It's jack!
Lucy: stop calling me by-
Jack: please don't hang up it's really important..
Lucy: what is it?
Jack: it's Daniel
Lucy: what? What happened!
Jack: he's in the hospital
I hung up the phone as quickly as I could and ran to the car taking Megan with me without tell her what was happening
