I am including this because I have already experienced someone trying to take my story and try and play it off as their own, and apart that being annoying to deal with...it was also discouraging because writers spend so much time creating a new world and filling it with characters - for someone to steal the writer's creation without their permission is not only unjust, it's heartbreaking.
