So, just as information for you all, there will be parts like in the tv show, where it shows a flash from the past, back in the Enchanted Forest. You will be able to tell, because it will be written in this text form! - Lordess----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Killian Jones took a step off of his ship, and onto the dock in the port of one the towns that was part of their trade route for Peter Pan. People that were on the dock glanced at him, then quickly looked away, knowing of his reputation. Especially if he was in a bad mood.
Killian looked around the dock. "Mr. Smee!" He yelled.
Mr. Smee ran over towards Killian from the ship, almost falling over the boarding plank and into the ocean. "Yes, Captain Hook?" He asked Killian.
"While the men are unloading the cargo, and loading up everything else we're bringing back to Pan, have one of our newest crew members swab the deck." Killian said. "I want to see my own reflection."
Mr. Smee nodded. "Of course Captain. May I ask, where exactly are you going to be at while we do all of this?"
Killian looked at him. "Why, the tavern, of course." He said. He turned, and walked over towards the town.
Mr. Smee watched as Killian walked away. Hook had been acting different ever since they had given the boy, Neal, to Pan and the Lost Boys. Mr. Smee wasn't sure if it was a good different, or a bad different though.
As Killian walked, he didn't notice that a mysterious figure was watching him. But more than watching, they were investigating him. Trying to figure him out, as he walked off towards the town.As night started to fall, Killian was walking back towards his ship on the dock with a bottle of rum in his hand, when he noticed someone walking around his ship. He couldn't recognize them since it was getting dark, but he could tell that it wasn't Mr. Smee. And all of the other crew members were still in town, telling stories to all of the ladies in the tavern.
Killian walked over and boarded his ship, ready to draw his sword from his side. "Unless you would like to be a dead man today, I request that you get off my ship." He said loudly to the person.
The person turned around and faced Killian, and he realized that this was a woman, with short dark hair that was slid back, green eyes, and red lips. "Now, is that any way to treat a lady?" She asked slyly. "Especially considering your reputation with ladies." She continued. The woman was wearing a light blouse, leather pants, a long black waistcoat, black boots, and a black hat, with a single blue feather, and while Killian was looking at her, he saw that she had a smirk on her face ."Yes, but those are ladies that I ask to be on my ship." Killian responded. "Not ones that board a ship without the captain's permission."
The woman shrugged. "Oh well. I'm here now, so what does it matter?" She asked, walking over to the far end of the deck, and running one of her hands along the side of the deck.
"It matters." Killian said, coolly. "Now, I won't be asking again. Get. Off. Of. My. Ship."
The woman looked at him. "So, you're the infamous Captain Hook?" She asked, not moving. "I mean, I see the hook, but you don't seem very captain-like to me." She continued.
Killian glared at her. "Most people that board my ship, and know my name, know better than to insult me."
The woman put her hands up in mock surrender. "Okay, just relax. I'm only here to talk business with you." She said.
Killian didn't drop his glare. "Why would I want to do any business with you?" He asked.
The woman sighed. "Sorry. Mistake on my part. Not business with you. Business to do with you." She stated.
Killian looked at her, still annoyed, but also confused now. "What do you mean, to do with me?" He asked.
The woman slid her hand across the ship deck rail as she started walking up the ship again. "Well, my line of work, is, interesting." She said. "To keep it short, basically I do things for people that they need to be taken care of."
"Meaning?" Killian asked. He began to feel a pit start to grow in his stomach, and he moved his hand closed to where his sword was at on his hip, as a just in case.
"Meaning that I do a variety of work. But that's not important right now." The woman said, taking her hand off of the railing and facing Killian. "What's important is why I'm here right now. That reason, being-" She gestured to Killian. "You."
Killian looked at her. "It would be a lot easier to figure out why you're on my ship if you would stop talking in riddles just damn right tell me why the hell you're here." He said, losing his patience.
The woman looked at him, and rolled her eyes, as if it was extremely obvious as to why she was here. "I've been hired to kill you Captain. That's why I'm here."
Killian looked at her, and he started laughing. "A great deal of people have tried that Love, and I'm fairly certain you won't be able to get the job done."
The woman looked at him, clearly annoyed by his laughter. "And what makes you think I won't be able to do it?" She asked, crossing her arms.
Killian looked at her. "Well, for one thing, even in those boots, you're about 2 or 3 inches shorter than me." He said, causing her to narrow her eyes and glare at Killian. "You're also acting rather cocky about trying to fight me, and that is how people lose their lives." Killian continued, drawing his sword.
The woman didn't lower her glare. "I'm not worried." She said confidently.
Killian sighed. "Fine. If you're ready to die over this, then we can duel." Killian said. "But I warn you, I don't go easy on anybody." He continued, waiting for her to pull out a weapon.
Instead of pulling out a sword, the woman pulled something small out of her pocket.
"Oh, I didn't say we were dueling. I just said I was here to kill you." The woman said. She snapped her fingers.
From behind Killian, three people came out of the shadows and grabbed him, causing him to drop his sword. "Let go of me!" Killian demanded, trying to break free. The three people didn't let go of him, but instead, tightened their grasp on him, and held him still as the woman walked up to Killian. As she got closer, he realized that she was holding what looked to be a purple shell in her hand.
"Now, this may or may not hurt a bit. Depends on your pain tolerance, I guess." The woman said with a shrug. She placed the shell against Killian's chest, and whispered something under her breath. As she did this, a white light came out of Killian's chest. He yelled in pain as the white light flew into the shell the woman was holding, leaving the shell glowing.
Smiling, the woman turned around and walked back over to the railing again. "You can let go of him now." She said.
The people holding on to Killian let go of him, and he fell hard on the deck, clutching his chest with his hand. "What the hell did you just do to me?" He asked, his voice shaking. Not only did his chest ache with pain, but everything felt strange to him now. He felt as if he was empty, like something was missing from inside him.
"Oh, it's simple. I took your soul from you." The woman responded casually, turning around and facing Killian. She was holding the purple shell in her left hand, and Killian could see that in her other hand, she was holding other shells of different colors. "These shells allow me to take a person's soul away from them, and possibly give it back to them." She continued. "A little trinket I got as a favor from an old...acquaintance, I guess you could say."
Killian stood up. His chest and insides still hurt, but he ignored the pain, as anger started to rise up in him. "Give me my bloody soul back. Now." He said angrily. Before waiting for an answer, he started walking towards the woman, not bothering to pick up his sword off the deck.
The woman didn't move. "Stop right there Hook." She said with a harsh tone.
Killian stopped. Confused, he tried to move again, but realized he couldn't. Why couldn't he move at all?
"Oh, I haven't even mentioned the best part about these shells." The woman said, a smile growing on her face. "When I have someone's soul, I have control of them. So, now you'll do whatever I say." She said. She walked over towards Killian. "And there's nothing you can do about it." She continued, walking past him.
"If you really want me dead, then why not just kill me right now?" Killian asked angrily. Even though he couldn't move, he was still able to talk.
The woman stopped and sighed. "See, that's the thing. My employer for this job specified where I need to kill you, and that sadly isn't here." She said. "So, when everyone else from your crew gets back, tell them that I'm a guest on your ship that you're taking to a nearby kingdom." She said.
"And what if I tell them that you're controlling me?" Killian asked.
The woman shrugged. "You're not allowed to tell them that. So now you can't say anything, even if you wanted to." She said, resuming walking away. "You can move again." She called back.
Killian unfroze, turned, and glared at the woman as she walked over to the ships wheel, his anger almost steaming off of him."By the way." The woman called out once she had reached the wheel of the ship. "The name's Maria. Maria d'Allessio."
