"Eomma?.." A little voice said. "Eomma will I be able to play piano like you when I'm big?" He said. His mother smiled down at him, pulling the boy into her lap before giving him a kiss on his forehead. "Of course you will darling. One day you'll play even better than me, you'll be wonderful and make everyone so happy when you play..."

The boy smiled, curling up in his mother's lap and hugging her closely. He loved when she'd play piano for him late at night before bed. To him, she was amazing. The greatest person in the world. She was right, one day he'd be amazing just like her and make others happy, just like she said.

"I love you Eomma..." He said quietly, falling asleep in her warm arms.

"I love you too Yoongi...So much."

I love you....

His mother was wrong.

Or at least not completely wrong. Yoongi was an amazing piano player that was for sure, but he never made anyone happy.

He didn't think so anyway.

If he was anything to anyone around him then it was a complete embarrassment. Every time he walked through the school halls he could feel them looking at him and hear the whispers, mostly rumours. Yoongi didn't care much, never paid them any mind or gave them any of the attention they wanted. He wasn't going to let stupid rumours bother him, not from a bunch of cowards that couldn't say it to his face.

At school Yoongi was, as they say, the "bad boy". All the stupid rumours were based on how he dressed and how he spoke to others. "He's just a whore like his mother.", "I heard he's great in bed,  just takes anyone who throws themselves at him. How disgusting" They say. Yoongi knows it's best to walk away.

Yoongi kept walking through the halls until he made it to the music room, the only place where he felt at peace. He came here everyday during his lunch break for the past 2 years as soon as he realized there was a piano. The piano. The only thing that gave him a bit of happiness and for one reason only.

It reminded him of his mother

Letting out a deep sigh, Yoongi drops his bags and sits down. Body quickly relaxing as he begins to play. This was when he was happiest, playing the piano with the memories of him and his mother together flowing through his head.

He missed her so much

It was ok though. It was ok. He was strong and independent and he would do fine on his own. That's how he got by, doing things alone. That's how it'd always be.

He'll always be alone.

"Hobi-hyung you don't need to keep following me I told you I'm fine. Just go eat lunch with Jungkookie I can handle myself."

"Park Jimin I swear to god...You know I'm just looking out for you, I don't want those punks bothering you." The boy,  Hobi, replies.

The other boy in front of him, Jimin, let out a long sigh before responding. "I know I know but it's fine just trust me. I'll be in the library studying they aren't going to bother me there so just relax and go alright? Besides if anything happens I promise I'll call you." Hobi, better known as Hoseok, was one of his best friends. He was tall, had dark red hair, and a smile and personality brighter than the damn sun.

The sunshine in his life

Jimin on the other hand, was more on the shorter side. He swept his pink hair up and out of his eyes as he stared up at his friend. Don't get him wrong he appreciates Hoseok being worried but really, it was just a bunch of bullies, he was going to be just fine. "Now go hyung you don't want to keep poor Jungkookie waiting for so long."

Hoseok gave him a hard stare before giving in with a long sigh. "Okay okay fine but remember what you said!" He said as he walked away. "You better call me if something happens Jimin-ah or else!" And just like that he was gone. Jimin rolled his eyes before continuing his walk down the hall, the guy was a bit too overprotective sometimes. Jimin continued making his way to the library before slowly stopping by the music room, poking his head in to hear the music being played.

Whoever was playing that piano was doing a damn good job because the music sounded so beautiful to Jimin's ears. He's heard many different songs being played at lunch, never cared to stop by until now. Whoever was playing must be the same person in there everyday because there weren't many musically talented kids in this school, or at least nobody showed interest. Jimin got a little closer, poking his head in enough to catch a look of who was in there. He couldn't believe what he was seeing.

Min Yoongi...

Min fucking Yoongi? The schools "bad boy", the boy who most people he's met are too afraid to approach, is the one playing piano. Jimin is shocked to say the least. He's never actually met Yoongi, never spoke to him and hasn't looked at him much but he knows who he is. Everyone does. Now that Jimin was here, getting a good look at the boy without being seen he does have one thought about him. One thought about his blonde hair, his beautiful piercings and his cat-like eyes.

"Beautiful..."

Did he say that out loud?

Yes

His eyes widen when the boy stops playing and Jimin runs off quickly before he's seen. Quickly making his way to the library where was supposed to be studying.

Yoongi turns around at the sound of the voice to find nobody there, couldn't catch the smallest sight of whoever just ran off. He doesn't think much of it though, turning back to what he was doing. "Probably just another coward." He concludes as he continues playing.

Probably.
