CIARA LYON WAS young and beautiful. Rich and powerful. Talented and smart. Her father was Lucious Lyon, famous rapper and owner of Empire. A huge company that produced famous singers, Ciara being one of them.
She was spoiled and entitled since her father gave her anything she could ever dream of or want, she was the only girl among three brothers so he went a little wild. He was also making up for her not knowing her mother, Cookie, as well as she deserved. Cookie got sentenced to 17 years in prison while she was four months old.
Ciara never let herself feel the absence of her mom, she called the woman whenever she could and wrote her all the time. Her dad making sure his daughter got her way with everything, her brothers being her best friends and protectors. Ciara was hands down closest with Hakeem, them being the babies of the family and both not remembering Cookie. Next was Jamal, he was so kind and caring and always watched our for her as she did for him. Lucious hated that Jamal was gay and gave him shit for it constantly, Ciara always sticking up for him.
Andre and hers relationship was more strained as she could see how he was power hungry and cared more about the company than his family. She didn't like nor trust his snake of a wife that was toxic for him. She loved him; he was her eldest brother after all. She just didn't feel like she could trust him.
Ciara was young and naive and Lucious saw that, taking advantage. She was manipulated constantly and couldn't even see it. When Cookie is released from Prison the first thing she does is try and make up for lost time and the second is break her daughter away from the brain washing and bring her to her full potential.
