chapter two:
lea's POV //
it was the day of the digi tour. i put on a pair of high-wasted shorts and a black, laced crop-top. i did my make up and curled my hair then drove to get jordyn. she always went to every event to support me.
we finally got there and i was really nervous to finally meet hayes. jordyn and i hurried backstage and put our purses down. jordyn got us both a water and i saw hayes at the table. jordyn didn't realize she was right next to him. she came back and handed me my water. "shit jordyn. theres hayes"
"wow i didn't even realize i was next to him.. gO TALK TO HIM." jordyn said. "nO" she pushed me anyways. i walked to him myself and right as i walked closer to him he turned around and i spilled my water all over him. great.
hayes' POV //
i turned around and water splashed all over my shirt. "i am so so sorry, it was an accident i swear" lea said quickly as she grabbed paper towels. she was so much prettier in person.
"it's okay." i said with a smile. "wanna go on a walk before the show starts?"
"sure" she said giving a glance at her friend, who was laughing. (probably at lea)
lea's POV //
i still can't believe i just did that. jordyn was laughing her ass off but hayes was so sweet. he didn't even get mad at me when i accidentally poured water on him. i followed him to the back door and we walked over to what i assumed was his car. he opened the trunk and got a shirt out from his suitcase.
"are you nervous for the show?" he asked.
"not really, i've done perfor-"
as i was talking, hayes slowly took off his shirt to put on his other one. 'damn. he has abs.' hayes looked at me and laughed. i was confused at first but then i realized that i just said that out loud. of course i did, what could possibly go wrong now.
"um, i think the shows about to start" i said, trying to forget what just happened.
"oh, shit. we have to go" he said closing his trunk.
we ran to the event as fast as we could and barely made it. hayes lost his shoe while running but he went on with the show. half shoeless. we laughed together so much during the show and it was so fun meeting a bunch of people.
after the show, i got my purse and walked to the car with jordyn. we headed to my apartment and changed into our pajamas.
"sooooo." jordyn said with a smirk. "how was hayes? not including the part when you poured water on him" she started laughing again.
me: shut up! i still can't believe i did that
jordyn: yeah me either, its still funny
me: he was so sweet though
jordyn: where did he take you?
me: to his car.. to get a new shirt.. he has abs... really. nice. abs..
jordyn: THATS A SIGN!! YOU HAVE TO DATE HIM!
me: i barely know him. i'm gonna talk to him again.
hayes' POV //
today was amazing. even though lea poured water on me. she was so cute and funny and nice. i need to see her again.
i called her from my phone to ask if she wanted to go on a date. i was nervous.
lea: hey hayes, whats up?
me: hey. i was wondering.. um. do you wanna go on a date? sometime this week? we can go to the movies or something?
lea: i'd love to.
hayes: when are you free?
lea: i'm free this saturday.
hayes: great. i'll pick you up at 4:00?
lea: i'll see you there!
she hung up. that was hard to do. i should have talked louder. but at least i have a date with lea.
lea's POV //
jordyn heard the whole conversation.
jordyn: hE JUST ASKED YOU OUT ON A DATE.
me: I KNOW I KNOW I KNOW. IM SO EXCITED
jordyn: now you just have to figure out what to wear.
me:.. shit.
