Lea's POV
"Why do you keep offending him?" Kathy wondered.
"'cause I can." I laughed viciously. "I love-"
"Love?"
"Offending him."
I scoffed at her interruption. "Did U think I was gonna say I love-"
She put the spatula down and turned to look at me. "Say it!"
"...B.."
"Say it Lea!"
"Br.."
"Yes yes!"
"Brownies."
She gave up trying to get me to admit that I would ever like that shit faced ass cake.
Never in a billion years.
Not happening.
Suddenly I remembered something important that I had to ask Brandon to do, so I picked my phone up into my hands and started texting him.
Me: boy, my mother has requested we go home together this weekend
Boy with no soul: wtv
Me: what? Do you wanna go or not
Read.Me: reply asshole
Read.Me: U fucking douche
Read.Me: YOU ARE GONNA ROTT IN HELL
Boy with no soul: isn't this enough? You being the demon and I being a poor helpless soul rotting by your presence
What a contradiction to his name on my phone.
I scowled and quickly dialled his number because I needed an answer which he wasn't giving me.
It took him just half a ring to pick up.
"What?" He asked, pretending to be bored off his ass from talking to me.
"What what? I want to know if you're coming with me. If you're not then I don't even care I'll go on my own." My eyebrows furrowed.
"Can you not make such a fuss about this?" He growled, his voice sharp and cold. "I said I'm coming with you, do you not understand?"
I shivered. Maybe it's the weather.
"Y-you didn't say that." I retorted, trying to get my voice back. What?
"Whatever."
"Are you in your house?"
"No I'm in graveyard digging a hole."
I could picture him rolling his eyes at me.
"Okay. Bye." I grumbled and slammed my phone shut.
