2# The New Me

Stella's P.O.V
"Get up, ya'll gonna be late" Caleb screams throwing my pillow at me. "Give me 5 man" I said throwing the pillow back at him and lifting the covers over my face. Today was the first day back at school from the summer break. I had changed from the last time being had school, I had got that's summer body and the summer glow. I was ready for anyone to start shit with me, bitch better had back up. I finally got up and walled to my shower in nothin but my lace underwear and bra. I got out of the shower, did my hair, put some clothes on; my black crop, some white high waisted jeans and my black tns. I walked down stairs to where my mamma had made breakfast. "Thanks mama, you didn't have to. Also i ain't gonna be home for dinner tonight so don't bother cookin for me" i walked into the livin room where Caleb was.  "Oi Stella, you remember Tj, yeh?" Caleb said as I roamed around the livin room. "Uhh, yeh briefly. Why?"
"Cause his gonna be at the warehouse tonight with us, his givin you a lift there after you finish school okay" Caleb said as he took a drag of this smoke. "Yeh too easy, see ya'll later" I walked back upstairs and grabbed my phone from my bed and called an uber to come get me in 15 mins. I was gonna see if Caleb could give me a lift to school but he had some warehouse shit to deal with before tonight's meeting. The uber was gonna be here if 15 minutes so I got up clean my room a bit and packed my phone charger, some lippy, some pens and my purse into my clutch. I grabbed my big dark green jacket and my phone off my bed and headed downstairs to wait for my uber outside. As I walked down the stairs, I could see Tj looking at my outta the side of my eyes. "See you later yeh Stella" he said with a wink. "Yeh, cool b" I said with a wink back and walked out the door. Lucky for me the uber just pulled up. I got in and told him where I needed to go and he drove there. There wasn't any convo in the car. Finally we arrived at school and I paid the uber driver and got out of the car. I made my way towards the school entrance, I could feel people stating at me. I knew exactly why too, I had changed I wasn't the same bitch as last year, I was back and I was the top dog.

The day went really fast, people stated at me and I just walked with my head held high. Some guys tried to talk to me but I didn't even show them anything cause I knew they just wanted to fuck. Anyways it was the end of the day and I walked to the back entrance that lead to the school car park, everyone was out at there cars already just being big shots. As I walked out of the doors I could see Tj waiting next to his car already. Damm, did he have a nice car; a black GT club sport. I walked over to him. Everyone seem to start whispers, it was because Tj had just graduated school the previous year and all the girls wanted to be with him and every guy wanted to be him. And it just turned out I was riding with him. "Hey you, I felt like we have seen one another in ages" Tj says as he opens my door for me. "Seems like you have learnt some manners too" I said joking around as he closed my door. Once he got into the car he started the engine and said "anything for my bros, sister."
I didn't know if I should feel bummed cause he 'friend zoned' me or like take it as a compliment. Arhh fuck it anyways. The trip to the warehouse was pretty good, we just spoke about how things had changed and how I had changed. It was good talkin to him. We got to the ware house and Caleb's car wasn't there yet. We drove to the front gates and I got out and put in the pin to open the gates so Tj could drive though. The gates opened slowly and I walked in with Tj in the car behind me.
Finally the ware house meeting started and it was just about bullshit, how we need to make sure the warehouse had the right service around and no one could break in. After the meeting Caleb and Tj come and got me and we went my office. "So I just wanna say that since this shit has gone down in L.A with the other gang, I want you to start carrying around a little pistol so you can defend yourself Stella" Caleb said stating me dead in the eye. "Yeh, all good Caleb, someone better teach me how to fuckin shot tho. Caleb you can do that right?" Caleb walked over to my pin board and pulled out a pin "Nah I will, we will do that tomorrow. You can ditch school, come here and I'll teach you.... oh wait also I've spoken to Tj about it and I want him to look after you while you are learning how to shot, he will be going everywhere with you okay."
Fuck does he really think I'm 2, I know I'm like 1 year younger then him but I can look after myself fuck. I nod my head to them and say nothing cause whatever I say he won't care, he made this mind up so it's end of story. I walk out of the my office to the front desk where some dirty bitches are hanging over the front desk, I can't complain about them though they do their job. I pull out my phone and check my social media, everyone been talking about how I got in the car with Tj and how I'm so different now. I let out a little smile. "Hey Stella, Tj taken you home. I gotta do a couple of shit here I'll be home soon. Tell muma don't stay up for me and that I'm safe" Caleb said as him and Tj walked over to the front desk. "Stay safe Caleb, you better be home soon thou mumma doesn't need to be worryin about you, okay?!" I gave Caleb a hug and walked out the door and hoped into Tj's car, the ride back was chill. We had small talk nothing much. He said how him and Caleb discussed how they want me to be safe with all this gang shit happening and that they could be at mine to pick me up for gun practice tomorrow at 9am. We shortly got to my place and Tj stopped the car and I looked at him like why would he stop the car. I then realized he had walked around and opened my door and was walking me to the door step. My heart melted a little bit but why? I waved good night and he waited for me to get inside before he drove off.
It's been an hours since I've been home and I was about to get into bed when I heard the front door open, I grabbed me phone and quickly messaged Caleb.
Text messages to Caleb
'Did you just get home?' -Stella.
'Yeh, stel I did. I'll see you in the mornin' -Caleb

Thank fuck it was only Caleb, I got into bed and tried to get some sleep.
